Well, all I ever did was use white-out to change the wording on the last page of “Green Eggs And Ham” to: “How many times do I have to tell you? Get those ******* things out of my face!”
Doonesbury is surely the oldest, crustiest hoe on the block by now. Yet there the strip is, in our local newspaper, still reinforcing aging hippies’ half-baked view of the world. Still harping away at the same old tired tune (just like Stephen Colbert).
The only benefit to society contributed by Doonsbury was inspiring a cartooning style for Burke Breathed.
