Indeed, Eugene V. Debs, one of the founders of the Industrial Workers of the World (sometimes known as the “Wobblies” or as “I Won’t Work”), did exactly that in 1920. There were jokes about whether he would serve the two terms simultaneously or sequentially.
My question is why are you paying for software? And my follow up question is why do people still insist on writing software with DRM/licensing on it when they know it’s going to be cracked and downloadable for free within a week anyways?
