Frank Suggestions for New Majority Leader
After his remark praising Strom Thurmond's failed run for the presidency on a racist platform, the consensus seems to be that Trent Lott is a jackass. But, if Lott does resign his post of Majority Leader, who will replace him? Of course, most people are going to suggest other current Republican senators, but none are that interesting. The Republicans have a historic opportunity, and they need someone really dynamic to be their leader. That’s why I’m not limiting my choices to the usual people. So, without further ado, here is my extensive list of suggestions for Republican Majority Leader: UPDATED: Added Popeye, Jean-Luc Picard, Brutus Bill Frist Popeye Jean-Luc Picard Brutus Harry Callahan Superman Captain Ahab Godzilla Jack Bauer Batman Bruce Banner Super Mario Papa Smurf John Shaft Jesus Yoda GuyBrush Threepwood Hank Hill Frodo Baggins Cyber-Reagan Me If I missed anyone, just list him, her, or it in the comments section. 38 Responses To "Frank Suggestions for New Majority Leader"
How about: Billy Gibbons Suggestion: Caligula Owen Meany The writers and editorial staff of the Onion. Just a reminder, dead is not a disqualifying factor. Melissa, But did you inhale the fumes? So much is therefore explained... #8 - Posted by: Andrea Harris on December 13, 2002 11:42 AMGeneral George S. Patton channeled through Donald Rumsfeld. Advantages: He'd slap the crap out of Daschle. Disadvantages: He's slap the crap out Dashcle. #9 - Posted by: Jerri Lynn Ward on December 13, 2002 02:23 PMSuperman? He's a socialist tree hugger. No way. Jack Bauer would be my choice, and maybe Wolverine. #10 - Posted by: Camille on December 13, 2002 02:54 PMDarth Vader Ahhh the S.M.U.R.F's. You're right Frank, they are commies. Smurf alone stands for Socialist Men Under a Red Father. #12 - Posted by: JpF on December 13, 2002 06:51 PMAslan Frank, I think you've confused Brutus and Bluto. Brutus is the Roman senator who betrayed Caesar and Bluto is Popeye's rival. They're nowhere near close to being the same person. #15 - Posted by: Josh Heit on December 16, 2002 06:33 PMConan the Barbarian: Minsc the Bezerker-Ranger: Why do not I see me posts??? #18 - Posted by: Mopet on March 5, 2004 01:43 PMArchitectural & Garden bbburrry #21 - Posted by: vor on March 13, 2004 09:13 AM

At this point in life, I find it hard to dwell on such insignificant happenings.
