Now You Can Show the World You Support World Peace

The Nuke the Moon t-shirt is on its way, being made by ThoseShirts.com (home of the famous "Celebrate Diversity" t-shirt). It will be some weeks before it is actually available, but here is what the design will be (thanks to reader Mitch Green for coming up with the original design):

Click on the shirt for a close-up image.

Have a fun Memorial Day weekend.

WOW! That's gorgeous! Mitch did a great job!

Maybe it could come with a complimentary copy of the text of "Nuke The Moon" -- maybe in pamphlet form, or a little wallet-sized accordion-folded thingy like a baseball team's season schedule (just 'cause people are gonna ask "what the hell is does THAT mean..?").

Hmmm. Good present for my parents.

I love the t-shirt.

This should ispire you: Bill O'Reilly is making a fortune with his "The Spin Stops Here" doormats. They can't keep them in stock. He's promoting them as the ideal Father's Day gift and people are buy them buy the boat load.

Spork,
We already plan on giving a nice printed copy of the essay with the t-shirt.

Fritz, you are the coolest person ever.

..looks like a good one to add to my 'Celebrate Diversity' and 'U.N. American' shirts. Another one for the libs to look at and turn away in confusion !
ps- very good photoshop skills, Frank !

---oh,ah, er, I meant Fritz of course...nothing like proof reading a few hours later. My bad.

#9 - Posted by: Paul on May 24, 2003 09:21 PM

When the shirts actually are available, I'll have to use that baby one as an ad.

#10 - Posted by: Frank J. on May 24, 2003 09:38 PM

Nice work on the ads Fritz. Except it's IMAO.US. D'oh!
I've done it myself and I'm in the business. : )

#11 - Posted by: BAM on May 24, 2003 10:15 PM

Man, I didn't even notice that.

#12 - Posted by: Frank J. on May 24, 2003 10:29 PM

Oops! And I'm in the business, too. Baby ad is fixed now.

#13 - Posted by: Fritz on May 24, 2003 11:03 PM

Woo-hoo, finally.
Fritz, beautiful, just beautiful.

#14 - Posted by: Veeshir on May 25, 2003 11:09 AM

That's good stuff Fritz...
Unfortunately I doubt they will be ready for Father's Day. For technical reasons, this design is gunna take a bit longer than usual to produce. And we want to make sure it kicks plenty of ass. I think people who don't even know Frank will buy this one just because it looks cool. Kudos to Mitch Green for the original layout...

End the lunatic menace once and forever!

That shirt rules! Frank, please make sure you don't short yourself and get too few of them made. Learn from Rachel Lucas's initial coffee mug mistake - I'm sure this will be just as hot an item. BTW, Nuke the Moon should have a gigantic link in bold letters right at the top of the page when you get here. Make sure all the noobs know EXACTLY what IMAO is all about.

#17 - Posted by: Mike the Marine on May 26, 2003 10:31 AM

Thanks, Mike. And I do plan on displaying the Nuke the Moon treatise more prominently when the shirt comes out.

#18 - Posted by: Frank J. on May 26, 2003 10:53 AM

Lol, great! But did Frank-- have you noticed that Something Awful has borrowed your "nuke the moon" idea, claiming that it was a US government plan from the 1960's? Lousy @%*(& Something Awful! It was your bright idea!

#19 - Posted by: Flakbait on May 26, 2003 02:21 PM

Hahaha, damn, that's funnier than hell. I've got to get one of those. I must have missed the essay somehow and just read it now. Hahahaha.
