Links of the Day
Posted by Frank J. at 05:29 PM | View blog reactions | Comments (14)

Let's see... I'm tired so
I'm just going to Technorati and link to people
Nice enough to link to me. Then you can click right back to me.
Kind of a cool idea (at least to me).
I'm going to start with dyoder who does a plug of my
Nuke the Moon t-shirt.
Good for him.

Thanks to Laurence Simon for also plugging my shirt
Once he had a traffic surge due to his international fame.

My word, Dead Ends argues Rumsfeld should be fired!
Egads!

Instapundit got called names. Boo-hoo.
Sure, I would like Oprah to mention me.

Sure been a big week for me with my blog.
Might need a little break, so I'm taking tomorrow off from blogging.
Also, expect 60% less t-shirt whoring next week.
Really!
Type to you later!

Frank, you've earned the break.

Frank, you said you were going to have posts last weekend...no s*&t ! You have worked you butt off the last week. Take a break. I hope my t-shirt purchase bought you a beer or a few practise rounds ! Besides, you really need to rest up for the next encounter with the Fox reporter. Last I remember she was down to a bikini(?). Hard to top that one on such a family friendly site as yours ! I see no other logicical conclusion except her and Buck hookin' up .
-by the way, is it more suck-upish for my N.T.M self photo to have ol' glory as a back drop, as previously mentioned, or to show my dedication to the cause and kill all my printer ink with a bunch of N.T.M logos shown in the background?!
( 'cause I don't know how to photoshop them in...)
signed a mentally disturbed fan.
ps- good material, really, take a break, we'll wait....

I'm smart...I link to you. (you gonna make these messages harder?)

#3 - Posted by: serenity on June 20, 2003 08:11 PM

Eventually as everyone catches on, I'll think of something harder.

#4 - Posted by: Frank J. on June 20, 2003 08:15 PM

Paul,
Old glory as a backdrop sounds great.

#5 - Posted by: Frank J. on June 20, 2003 08:16 PM

I got my shirt! I got my shirt! I got my shirt!

It makes sex even better!

#6 - Posted by: michele on June 20, 2003 08:17 PM

Look, look! I link to you! It's been up there for.... weeks, I think. My blogroll, that is.

Maybe I should link you in my actual posts, too...

But I put my links in manually (I'm a freak), so I guess sometimes technorati and suchlike don't always notice.

Or something.

Maybe if I offer to demonstrate the cutting power of my swords, people will visit me and blogroll me. Maybe then I can afford a Nuke The Moon T-Shirt.... yeah... hey, I just got a great idea - I'll hold my money hostage until I get the linkage I want!

It's the freaking free verse again. Actually, you'd probably be a decent poet if you tried. Something like

monkeys dying
herded, lined up, shot like animals
i dance in my joy

Ok, maybe not. Whatever.

Enjoy your much deserved day off, Frank. If you enjoyed "Equilibrium" I'd like to suggest you rent "Ghost Dog" starring Forrest Whitaker (sp?). It has lots of gun fights, with much katana usage and "code of the samurai" quoting. It's possibly the best hip-hop, samurai, ganster movie ever made.

#9 - Posted by: Frank M. on June 21, 2003 11:03 AM

Already seen it (and another movie I think I might consider buying a copy of).

#10 - Posted by: Frank J. on June 21, 2003 11:26 AM

Hum... I don't think you should rely on Technorati. I know that I've linked to you many times and my blog isn't listed.

I also checked my Web stats to see what my referral URLs are and only about half of them where listed for my blog at Technorati.

You probably have way more than the 300 or so links listed by their service -- maybe twice that if you can go by my comparision.

#11 - Posted by: Fritz on June 21, 2003 11:47 AM

I linked IMAO to our site...but I'm still donating plasma for the shirt. They only let you in twice a week but you can cheat that by going to several different clinics. I'm chronically dehydrated, my urine is solid, my teeth and hair are falling out and my skin is draping off of me--but I'll look super-duper sexy wearing my incredible Nuke The Moon tee! Yowzas!
