Links of the Day
John Hawkins has bloggers’ picks for the worst figures in American history. Sic 'em, Chomps!
Watch out, Misha, here's some great fisking by one of the permalink contest finalists.
Speaking of Emperor Misha I, he has a letter from a Marine in Iraq telling us how things really are.
Rachel Lucas has a new hero. I like his attitude.
Dana has a problem a lot of us face: too many good blogs and only finite time in the day.
Blackfive has his Shirley Temple awards. As soon as I'm not lazy, I'm adding him to my blogroll, oh, yeah, and updating Charles Austin's link. I should write this down somewhere...
Yeah, just be sure to jot it right down on that list under where you wrote Blogroll Tiger.
FDR as one of the worst figures in American history? Huh?
There's two ways to think about FDR:
1) His leadership in WW2
2) Him starting the largest social programs in the country.
If you take #1 away, you have possibly the worse president...if you take #2 away, you have one of the greatest.
What? That Fisking is pretty much a carbon copy of mine!.
I declare a Fatwah!
Blogging is the next generation of the Internet. If you've got something to say that interests somebody else, by golly, then there you have it! It's not about search engine rank or advertising, either. It's about word-of-mouse, and presentation. More here
