Links of the Day
John Hawkins has made his pick for the Democrat presidential candidate. BTW, I support Ah-nuld for governor of California since I like his movies and I don't live there. Alice suggests a name change for my blog. But I like IMAO! I wonder what it stands for... My post about defeating terrorists on a plane was pretty well received, but is it too soon after 9/11 to be making jokes about such a thing? Look on my sidebar. I now have my official Imperial Secretary of War seal. And what do you have? Jack, that's what. * * * * I don't always have a lot of time each day to peruse the blogosphere, so don't be afraid to send me a link to one of your posts if you think it's especially worthy. Just don't bug me too often (try to keep e-mails to once a week) or get too upset if I don't use it. 11 Responses To "Links of the Day"
Who made the Imperial Secretary of War seal? Is there one for the Dept of Hegemony by Force? #1 - Posted by: DarthVOB on August 6, 2003 10:27 PMDon't be afraid to make jokes about terrorists in any situation. Those who are still all shook up about it are the same ones who didn't remember all the times the same group killed people elsewhere and all the times they tried to blow up the same buildings. I'm voting for Gary Coleman! At least he's not married to Maria "Skeletor" Shriver. #3 - Posted by: Fritz on August 7, 2003 12:21 AMJokes are not allowed? Now I know why the Aussies call the English "whingeing poms" #4 - Posted by: tictoc on August 7, 2003 12:27 AMNot that I wouldn't whinge too if I were an unpaired pom, gathering dust in the attic, pining for the hot sweaty embrace by a 16-y.o. chesty cheerleader's fist, knowing that my brother pom is likewise shaking, rattling and rolling but a few inches away as we let it rip to the brassy climax coming from the marching band #5 - Posted by: tictoc on August 7, 2003 12:32 AMCongratulations Frank for being Emperor Misha's Secretary of War. That's what freedom of the press is. #7 - Posted by: Dingdong on August 7, 2003 06:24 AMDunno if you noticed it, but Dingdong's site always change. #8 - Posted by: safari on August 7, 2003 06:26 AMI dont mind the jokes, because I know that you take these things seriously. It's not like you're joking about those who died. You're simply stripping those scum (the terrorists for any lefties needing reminding) of any awe and belittling them. I think it is worse to take these people so seriously. We have to joke that Osama is dressed a woman hiding in an outhouse pit. Otherwise we raise him up to greatness he doesnt deserve simply because he can fund mass killing. #9 - Posted by: Ken on August 7, 2003 06:51 AMI'm pretty sure we all know dingdong's real site. And well put, Ken. I enjoyed the post. It wasn't disrespectful. #10 - Posted by: Jennifer on August 7, 2003 07:36 AMIMAO = In My Armed Opinion, no? #11 - Posted by: shaulie on August 8, 2003 10:05 AMPost a comment
