Poll Stability
Posted by Frank J. at 09:06 AM | View blog reactions | Comments (26)

I hadn't come up with a new one in a while, so I've stopped the rotating polls. Right now, you can go vote on your favorite In My World™ character. Did I leave any out?

Rating: 0.5/5 (1 vote cast)

Ari was my favorite; but he's not on there.

I'm afraid Ari is gone, Nick.

That was heartless, Frank!

I just read on your random links:
"Homeland Security Provisions:
It is now illegal to be French."

As it ever been legal to be French ?

Luara?

#6 - Posted by: Big Dog on November 4, 2003 12:01 PM

Something looked wrong and I just couldn't put my finger on it...

#7 - Posted by: Frank J. on November 4, 2003 12:03 PM

I can't find the Random links! I want to read the Homeland Security Provisions...Can someone help me find it..?

#8 - Posted by: CC on November 4, 2003 12:25 PM

Anytime I try to find one of my old posts, I just use google and put "imao" with the search phrase :)

Ari was my favourite too. Can we bring him back for a visit? Please? (Maybe he can appear to the hapless Scott in a vision, or something...)

You left out the Junior Senatress from New York, aka The Smartest Woman in the World. If anyone voted for the Hillibeast then you could track down their IP address and....

#10 - Posted by: Tim on November 4, 2003 01:07 PM

Hah..found it..thank you, Frank!

#11 - Posted by: CC on November 4, 2003 01:17 PM

What about the Hell's Democrats? The Dean, Dick the Knife, Big Fat Teddy K, and By the Way I Served in Vietnam. Please don't say they were left off because they are gone (like Ari). They've got to make another appearance.

#12 - Posted by: Valdis on November 4, 2003 01:24 PM

Damn it, I wanted to vote for both Zatoichi and Melinda, but those outfits... could you give Melinda a samurai sword in the next IMW?

#13 - Posted by: Jon on November 4, 2003 01:50 PM

Helen Thomas, without a doubt.

Oh wait, so the poll isn't "Which IMW character would I like to have ripped apart by 46 ninjas?"

My bad.

I would really like to see Joschka Fischer make In My World. Maybe the Rumsfeld Strangler can hit him with an brick while Chomps (wearing a police hat) is eating Fischer's leg.

Fischer is as loathsome as Chirac, and he is a former(?) smelly, hippy, revolutionary.

It's not the Rottweiler of Damocles, but what is?

#15 - Posted by: Jim Harris on November 4, 2003 05:26 PM

I hereby pronounce an official campaign for Scott McClellan. He's obviously the best character. He takes all the crap but keeps on chuggin'

Vote McClellan he takes the crap but has a good rap.

I know that slogan was a piece of *crap
maybe I deserve a *slap.
However someone may *clap.
I'm just a poor *sap.

#16 - Posted by: the_brick on November 4, 2003 10:36 PM

HAHA! Yes! Rumsfeld by a big margin!

Gawd, I crack up every time I read:

"I told Rumsfeld to cover for you."
"Rarr!" Rumsfeld yelled as he strangled a reporter.

:D

#18 - Posted by: Texas shootin' solution on November 5, 2003 11:07 AM

I miss the Unnamed Mexican - he was always my favorite, and probably the most sane of this bunch.

#19 - Posted by: Joseph J. Finn on November 5, 2003 01:26 PM

Rummy is running away with this.

I do think Ari would have polled second if you had put him in Frank. He rocked. I hope he's enjoying his whiskey and Game Boy Advance at whatever beach he's chilling.

#20 - Posted by: SSG B on November 5, 2003 01:37 PM

Yeah, back in the days when Bush and Ari would flood the white house bathrooms getting lead pipes to beat hippies with.

#21 - Posted by: Dave The Australian on November 6, 2003 01:58 AM

How about the Rumsfeld Strangler. After all, no one knows who he really is.

#22 - Posted by: Hermetic on November 6, 2003 11:27 AM
