Here's Your Damn Funny
Posted by Frank J. at 07:46 AM | View blog reactions | Comments (27)

Sorry I don't have a post today, but I'll get the new Limey e-mail up eventually. Here's some funny stuff not by me, though.

Is it true? Has someone found a good use for evil monkeys? Check out the Trunk Monkey.
(Thanks to the various readers who told me about it; all the commercials are technically here, but I can't get the links working.)

Too much motivation at work? Check out these posters and slogans. One of my co-workers has had this one up for a while. Here's some other good ones:
Procrastination
Adversity
Ambition
Humiliation

Tom Bux met with the NAACP.

BerkeleyGirl found that even the left have humor.

In another example of left humor, here's how the new touchscreen voting will work.

Here are some great reasons to invade Canada.

Here's an e-mail I got:

Hi Im from Ireland.
Over here the f**kin place has turned into La- La Land.
Shannon International Airport, the place where American airplanes refuel on the way to free Iraq from tyranny is under siege from Left-Wing raving loons.
We need the help of America.
Please send up panzerfausts, MG42 machine guns and flame-throwers so we cant toast these crazy Trotskites with their s**tty pizza faces and Che guevera T-shirts.
Leaping leprachans! We're in dire straits.

Any ideas on how to help Ireland? We owe them since they gave us Guinness and half my genes.

Finally, this week The Onion has a picture of Cheney clotheslining an aide. It's funny because it's true.

I'm not quite sure that I understand the Leftist humor. I think that they are going for satire, but they only make themselves look stupider beacuse they are only satirizing thier own conspiracy theories. Maybe if they just admitted they were making fun of themselves, it would actually be funny, but that would require brainpower unavailble to them.

maybe it'd be funnier if they had clinton's and kerry's record...oh wait they are leftists i guess they don't want to make themselves look bad

Frank, tell your Irish friend that he or she needs to download the "Desert Combat" mod of Battlefield 1942 so they can update their weapon requests. I really think that TOWs or SMAW shoulder-launchers would be better than Panzerfausts, and Heckler & Koch is doing amazing things with auto-grenade launchers these days... I mean, MG 42's? Really.

All I know is it made me laugh. It wasn't filled with hatred like some DU attempt at a joke.

Well it is refreshing, coming from Europe, I'll grant.

I agree Frank (about whitehouse.org) - I actually LIKED some of the bumperstickers they advertised too!

I'm not in the mood for funny either. I am in the mood to talk about the attack in Spain, though, so ya'll are just going to have to let me vent for a second.

Evidence that it was ETA: 1) ETA is a terror group native to Spain that has proven its willingness to take lives (over 800 in the past 50 years). 2) The attack came very close to the Spanish elections, which makes more of a domestic political point than a foriegn one. 3) The explosive used - titadine - is one often used by ETA in the past. Two ETA members were arrested with a van-load of it last month, in fact. 4) ETA has been hard-pressed by the Spanish and French governments lately, and desperately needed to make its presence felt, or risk obscurity. 5) ETA attempted precisely this attack - titadine backpack bombs on trains - around Christmas but were foiled.

Evidence it was Al Queada: 1) The claim of responsibility e-mail to a British Arab newspaper claiming the attack was made by the Brigade of Abu Hafs al-Masri on behalf of Al Queada. 2) The scale of the attack was far larger than anything attempted bt ETA in the past. 4) ETA has always, in the past, claimed responsibility for its actions. There was no such claim this time. 3) Tapes and Koranic lessons in Arabic were found in a van near the scene of one attack, along with detonators.

So, there is some good evidence for both theories. However, a few things must be noted about the evidence this was an Al Queada attack: The group Brigade of Abu Hafs al-Masri makes many claims of responsibility that are bogus; for example, they claimed responsibility for the power outage in the American Northeast last year that was really just an accident at a Detroit power company. Also, every terrorist group eventually ups the anty and makes a big strike ... just because ETA never made a strike this big before doesn't mean they won't try eventually. And lastly, there might not have been a claim by ETA this time because most of their leaders are currently in Spanish or French prisons; the low-level terrorists now in charge might be running things in a more haphazard manner than their leaders would have.

There is also the possibility that this was an attack by both. ETA tactics and methods used on a more massive scale by Al Queada ... an odd alliance brought about by increasing pressure on both groups.

Sorry to go all SDB on you guys, but I needed to get those thoughts written down. And share them with other folks who might have an opinion.

Panzerfausts? MG42s? Flame throwers?

Ireland needs the Wehrmacht, circa 1943?

From USA Today
"There also have been reports of cooperation between the two terrorist organizations. Spain has arrested several alleged al-Qaeda members who have lived in Spain for years, and authorities have said that some ETA members went to Afghanistan to train in bin Laden's camps."

I tend to believe that the node between ETA and Al-Qaeda is to share financial interests, military supply, logistic, organization to miniminize the risks for them to be tracked through the black market on the weapons, so the Madrid bombing may have satisfied ETA, that have cooperated on the logistic (for financial or which ever reasons... if managed by France, the people arrested could be a reason... for their release as they become hostages) but was an Al-Qaeda bombing in its motivation and the kind of attack that was deployed.

I think that the financial node is a thread because it cannot be only religious "to hit the crusaders" as said. All the European countries in a way or an other are crusaders because most their religions are Christian. What makes Spain to be a crusader that can be hit is its collaboration to America which is seen in the Middle East as the mirror of the Muslim Invasions of Asia.

America is not only the mirror of Asia, it is also the mirror of Europe, and Europe is now under construction with a completely different program than America. Europe is close to the Mediterranean sea and it must consider the neighborhood of Muslim countries. What fear the Muslim countries is the destruction of Islam.

But in the Mediterranean context with all its imbrications, the Muslims are the easy soldiers of some European nations who are the crusaders of a certain ideology of the state, a certain ideology of the faith, of the power and of course the economy. As the Muslims "can" make the war against America for the Europeans, in a context where Europe tend to want being independent, then the roots of Al-Qaeda are probably located in the Mediterranean circle. If you look at the Mediterranean sea in its international context you got:

Mister Boutros Boutros-Ghali, secretary of the U.N. during 1992-1997
Mister Chirac, President of France since 1995.
Saddam Hussein with the oil for food program
Egypt, at the node between Boutros Boutros-Ghali, Saddam and Sheikh Abdullah Azzam, the man behind Bin Laden
And here, lastly, you have Al-Qaeda to which Bin Laden is mainly a puppet at the nose of Saudi.

Chirac, with the French monarchy, then the Russian monarchy and lastly Russia (which is not any more soviet) are the military means with an impact on the International community. They have also common interests against America, and both all together are tied around Switzerland, the central bank that use the money from Africa, from the Middle East, from Asia and from Europe.

If you look at Putin, you'll see that he was elected on January 1, 2000 with a name Putin, that is not to remember Rasputin. I guess that he is the symbol of the messiah in Russia who will save the Christians, the Europeans and actually anyone who follows.

I don't mean that Putin is responsible of being Putin, but that people behind him are making the game. And there again you have a node: the Knights Templar, the Italian mafia, the Russian mafia and the weapons black market.

To sum up, the bombing of Madrid was probably motivated by the politic agenda. Discourage Spanish to cooperate with America. Prove the French electorate that Chirac was "right" and that he acted to protect the French interests and eventually revendicate them and fight for them, and satisfy the Muslim taste for blood of American friends. But I believe that the agenda came out from France and that the French army is involved.

Which actions against that: demonstrate it until we get the proves, put the people face to their reality, explain that terrorism is not legal, that it is not a legal mean, and restore the international organizations with the laws that can protect the international community against such abuses of France or any else country. An international commission should be opened not to discuss of the problem, but to solve them.

Personally, I consider that there are a lot of people, such Blinx, who are paid to not work a clue.

The only Irishmen who need any help are those not drinking enough Guiness, McMurphy's, Harp's, and Bass. Believe me enough of that stuff will give you super powers.
Cheers!
If that doesnt work there is an old Irish saying I remember from family ad friends which may be useful if he shouted it at the loons.

Go n-ithe an cat thú is go n-ithe an diabhal an cat.

May the cat eat you and the Devil eat the cat.

Just checked the Donks practice touch-screen site.

It shows how stupid they really are!!! Anyone who needs practice to use a touch-screen is too stupid to breed, let alone be allowed to vote!!!

There's proof, if anyone really needed it, how completely brain dead the opposition is!!

Oh, no, Ireland too? The auld sod that contributed half my genes too, now infested with pizza-faced Trotskyites? We Westerners are the second-most propagandized people on earth (after the Islamofascists of course), and the proof is everywhere. Something must be done.

Let's go over there and shoot them. Just my two bits.

My relatives in Ireland support America. I have a cousin there who loves the song "Courtesy of the Red White and Blue" by Toby Keith. Also, I saw more American flags in Ireland then you usually see in America. I'm sure there's a lot of anti-americanism there, but then again there's a lot of anti-americanism here in America too.....

Irish Pinkos ! Begone ye little heathens before I swim my 2nd generation Irish ass back across the pond and vanquish you from the "ould sod" with my finely crafted Yankee made Colt .45 and M-4. I guess the myth is true, St. Patrick did not vanquish the snakes from Eire.
