Ninjas, Lasers, and Gold!
Or
I'm Half Guinness and Fighting
Posted by Frank J. at 03:02 PM | View blog reactions | Comments (26)

This almost makes metric football seem exciting. And, is it just me, or do you think the snake with the cigarette dangling out of its mouth is supposed to be a Frenchman?

Also, how long can you play this thing continuously before it gets tiresome? For me, it's more than fifteen minutes at least.

I've seen the video before...how long does it last? It never ended...although I must say I gave up WAY before 15 minutes. My kids BEGGED me to turn it off!!!

Footie, Footie, Footie, Footie, Footie, England, ENGLAND!!! While enjoyable I'm not sure that I will be able to get this out of my head now, Frank J!

Curse you!! *Shakes Fist*

I got up past 18 goals and I stopped counting.

FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL!!! (NOOOOooo, it's still in my head)

The original is at http://www.badgerbadgerbadger.com/
After a while the music gets out of sync with the video.
Catchy tune, though.

#3 - Posted by: Ned Schnittt on June 15, 2004 03:22 PM

Ok, now it's up to 35 goals but now I am shutting it off!

#4 - Posted by: Snickering up my Sleeve on June 15, 2004 03:30 PM

I'm in Eastern Europe right now and there's some sort of Euro championship going on. I take great pleasure in calling it METRIC football. It troubles them in a imperialistic sorta way : )

#5 - Posted by: Laura on June 15, 2004 03:43 PM

Yeah, the limeys recently beat the frogs in metric football, so I bet the snake is a frog.

#6 - Posted by: Masada on June 15, 2004 03:53 PM

Actually, Masada, it was the other way around. There was much wailing and knashing of teeth by the Brits at the local sports bar.

Brass

At least it is not that Bananaphone song...

In response to your assault on my senses, I must return fire with this

#9 - Posted by: Blog Jones on June 15, 2004 05:04 PM

I worry, Blog Jones. All the hampsters had different hats just like the Village People. In what way would Village People have anything in common with hampsters?

#10 - Posted by: LibertyBob on June 15, 2004 06:19 PM

OH MY GOD! (And not in a good way)

They're right. You can't unsee the horror. Please get this out of my head!

For that I'm unleasing my trunk monkey on this abomination.

http://www.trunkmonkeyad.com/

Oh and Eleventh!

#11 - Posted by: Matt on June 15, 2004 06:23 PM

I never thought that I would find anything likeable about monkeys, but that was fantastic...(maybe because it's a chimp and not a monkey?) But those were great!!! I want one for my very own! (Sorry, Frank.)

#12 - Posted by: DixieDarlin' on June 15, 2004 06:35 PM

Badgers? We don't need no stinking badgers!

#13 - Posted by: Trevor on June 15, 2004 07:38 PM

make it stop, just make it stop...

It is enough to drive one to drinking. In fact I want a Guinness.

#14 - Posted by: Dark Indy on June 15, 2004 08:39 PM

stinking badgers.

that was funny

#15 - Posted by: Dave in Texas on June 15, 2004 09:27 PM

Well, I'm at 77 at last check and it isn't done yet. I'm getting scepticle of an end...

#16 - Posted by: Rob Brown on June 15, 2004 10:30 PM

You know, if metric football were half as exciting as the badgers' game, Americans might actually take the time to watch a game. And by that, I mean we might watch one game.

#17 - Posted by: James on June 15, 2004 10:33 PM

i, for one, couldn't take it for more than 15 seconds. i'm going to turn on some eminem real loud to get it out of my head.

#18 - Posted by: sarahk on June 15, 2004 10:48 PM

thats the DUMBEST thing I have EVER seen, I am ashamed of myself for watching up to 3. ugggg, damn that stupid soccer... the sport of fags

#19 - Posted by: Joey D on June 16, 2004 02:11 AM

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

#20 - Posted by: Greywolf on June 16, 2004 07:45 AM

This is weird, I could check out the badger thing at work, along with the trunkmonkey ad, but hampsterdance screwed up my computer and I had to restart my sessions (and a customer called while it happened of course) but at home I get the hampster thingy, but no monkey or badger site.

I hadn't realized the Hampsterdance site was real, I never typed it in because (yes, I'm stupid, I am even stupider for admitting this..) I was worried I might get some gay porno freaky-deaky kind of site (sight) and I just did not want to see that.

Duh! It was still bad... De da de da do do doh doh, de da de.. AAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaagggghhhhh!!!!!

#21 - Posted by: LokiDoki on June 16, 2004 09:46 AM

I'm pretty sure the "Badger Badger Bagder" video doesn't end, it just loops.

Oh, and check this one out. I won't post details, since it's better discovered fresh:

hahahaha Robin, you're right, no hints!

#23 - Posted by: Greywolf on June 16, 2004 11:06 AM

Uhhhh, Miss Munn?...

So...

Did Ralph-the-Wonder-Llama make a special guest appearance in this film? Were any ba... Ah who cares! That. Was. Classic!

#24 - Posted by: LokiDoki on June 16, 2004 01:06 PM

It kinda makes me miss the good old days when England ruled the Middle East. Guys like Gordon of Khartoum new how to deal with the bloody wogs. Now all England rules is a bloody metric football pitch. Damn colonials; it's all your fault!

#25 - Posted by: Nigel Wartbottom, Earl of Westeasternupshirehampton, Kight Commander of the Pub on June 16, 2004 04:01 PM

Well, my sister's been happily playing it for weeks now with no sign of getting tired of it. I've told her she's going to turn into a badger soon if she doesn't give it a rest!

Footie footie footie!
