Extra Reminder
Posted by Frank J. at 10:48 AM | View blog reactions | Comments (53)

Tomorrow is my blogiversary and International Link to IMAO Day, plus...

SUPER SURPRISE!!!

Until then, Michelle Malkin has an excellent takedown of one of Ted Rall's most vile comics yet. Whoever is running Ted Rall should replace his comics with mine about space lasers.

Happy blogoversary!!

To celebrate, go to the range, and shoot holes in paper targets!!

#2 - Posted by: MAJ Mike on July 8, 2004 12:07 PM

Third!!! And Frank, how about an IMW where Condi 'straightens' out Ted Rall!!!

#3 - Posted by: DixieDarlin' on July 8, 2004 12:16 PM

Condi is way too busy trying to take over the world to be bothered with Rall. She should just sick Chomps on him:)

#4 - Posted by: Wolf's Dawn on July 8, 2004 12:52 PM

Frank, you should take a look at this: http://www.ucomics.com/rallcom/

Ted Rall managed to scriblle a drawing calling for Rumsfeld's decapitation, and similar shit for Bush and his cabinet.

#5 - Posted by: Elephant Man on July 8, 2004 01:26 PM

First time I have read Michelle, she is smart and hot. I can't believe I said that. She is married,so I guess a married woman can be hot.

#6 - Posted by: James Old Guy on July 8, 2004 01:35 PM

...but does she do any lesbo stuff?
John Kerry looks like a lesbo...didn't he play Ms. Hathaway on The Beverly Hillbillies?

#7 - Posted by: Howard Sperm on July 8, 2004 01:38 PM

Frank, since I'm relativley new to your blog I was skimming some past posts and I couldn't stop laughing at the Middle East Cycle of Violence. You are so funny, if I wasn't getting a headache, I'd read every word today. Can't wait till tomorrow

#8 - Posted by: Wolf's Dawn on July 8, 2004 01:45 PM

If you keep drawing those space-laser cartoons, I may have to build frankj.isfullofcrap.com.

#9 - Posted by: Laurence Simon on July 8, 2004 02:04 PM

Rall's a commie traitor. I hope Ronald Reagan's butt-raping Rall's grandmother right now.

#10 - Posted by: Murder T. Left on July 8, 2004 02:40 PM

Frank,

You should have a space-laser castrate Ted Rall.

...

What do you mean, "space laser cartoons"?!?

#11 - Posted by: AWG on July 8, 2004 04:44 PM

Your cartoons exhibit much higher artistic values than do Ralls.

#12 - Posted by: MAJ Mike on July 8, 2004 07:11 PM

totally off topic, but had to put it somewhere. And IMAO seemed the place!

Since the whole concept of "the right" and "the left" comes from seating in the French National Assembly, and we don't like the French anyway, why not keep "The Right" for the conservatives and go to "The Wrong" for the liberals?

#13 - Posted by: Tom on July 8, 2004 09:35 PM

I cheated. I had to do it. I put my International Link to IMAO Day link up early, but by less than 3 hours. I'm sorry but I wanted to get something up there rather than risk not having a chance to put anything up tomorrow/on time.

#14 - Posted by: Jenno on July 8, 2004 09:46 PM

Tom:

I'm liking The Wrong but I hate to keep anything that is French. How about, The Superior?

#15 - Posted by: Wolf's Dawn on July 8, 2004 09:48 PM

I like the new look, but the text gets cutoff. You might want to fix that.

#16 - Posted by: on July 8, 2004 10:29 PM

What text gets cut off? And where, exactly?

#17 - Posted by: Sekimori on July 8, 2004 10:32 PM

I like the old format much better, but nothing can ruin imao.

#18 - Posted by: Matt on July 8, 2004 10:55 PM

Gah, I don't like this new format. It's much harder on the eyes to have black text on a white background.

#19 - Posted by: Cestus on July 8, 2004 11:05 PM

Okay Wolf's Dawn, the Superior it is! A brilliant suggestion.

Tom

#20 - Posted by: Tom on July 8, 2004 11:10 PM

Well, I don't like the new look, but in regards to a couple of comments about text getting cut off...it appears halfway or so down the page, where the left hand side of the posts are cut off.

I note that this only occurs in the absolutely horrible IE browser, but not in standards compliant browsers such as Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/firefox).

Also, headings show up as real headings in FireFox, but as standard text in IE.

#21 - Posted by: Gratch06 on July 8, 2004 11:13 PM

Finaly it took me like an hour or something to find the post I wanted to link to. It was well buryied in your archive. Which Imao.us did I link to you may ask? HA! you can visit my blog and find out.

yea yea, I am a cheap traffic whore, so sue me.

#22 - Posted by: Monster Kabasue on July 8, 2004 11:30 PM

Oh, no, oh, no...you know us 'old folks' can't handle change. Looks like too much commie red.

#23 - Posted by: DixieDarlin' on July 8, 2004 11:53 PM

AH! New layout! It looks much more professional, but how about a red, white, and blue border instead of just red. Not that plain red is bad, after all, the states going for Bush are red.

#24 - Posted by: Turkeyhead on July 9, 2004 12:01 AM

Ach! A new theme! I am so confused!

#25 - Posted by: Bob on July 9, 2004 12:01 AM

"Oh, no, oh, no...you know us 'old folks' can't handle change. Looks like too much commie red."

yeah, but you have to remember that red is also the color of commie blood.

#26 - Posted by: Rikor on July 9, 2004 12:03 AM

Oh,yeah,...I remember now. Frank just got some new weapons...maybe he has just been getting in some 'target' practice...that's where the blood, I mean, red, is coming from.

#27 - Posted by: DixieDarlin' on July 9, 2004 12:08 AM

First off, Happy Blogiversary bro!

Tonight, I tip my Heineken keg-can to you!

I like the new site, btw.

#28 - Posted by: Mr. Bubble on July 9, 2004 12:42 AM

It loads a helluva lot quicker. The layout is sorta "loud," but surely it's bound to grow on us.

Just keep doing what you're doing, and all will be well.

#29 - Posted by: BearHunter on July 9, 2004 12:51 AM

Ohhhh.....look at the pwetty colors!!!

#30 - Posted by: Pam on July 9, 2004 01:12 AM

well, I just checked out Michelle Malkin's site and she linked to imao. AND she's wearing a NTM t-shirt. wow! Happy Blogiversary Frank!

#31 - Posted by: maggie katzen on July 9, 2004 02:08 AM

Wow this looks nice. All orderly and professional.

(Why the red though?)

Happy blogiversary Frank, stay cool

-RF

#32 - Posted by: Rob on July 9, 2004 02:18 AM

gotta commend you, Frank - the new site looks awesome. much more orderly and professional. great job, and happy blogiversary.

#33 - Posted by: Dan G. on July 9, 2004 02:29 AM

i love it, Frank!
all you naysayers, stop the hatin'! change is good! (unless the change occurs in the White House in November, then change is bad.)

happy blogiversary, boss!

Scientists are reading the minds of monkeys!

http://www.newscientist.com/news/news.jsp?id=ns99996127

#35 - Posted by: David on July 9, 2004 03:32 AM

How about a picture of Micheal Moore with his head cut off, with his commie blood filling in the red? Just a suggestion.

#36 - Posted by: SIGPro on July 9, 2004 05:57 AM

Congrats on the blogiversary!!

#37 - Posted by: Dan on July 9, 2004 07:07 AM

Ditto on all the congrats! If I had a blog you would be at the top of my bloglist and I would already be linking to you five times a day, but I don't. As for the new site; it's different, but not bad. We'll get used to it. And it does load a lot faster. Good job and keep up the good work.

#38 - Posted by: Trucido on July 9, 2004 08:20 AM

Is the new layout our "super surprise"?

#39 - Posted by: Katie on July 9, 2004 08:50 AM

I had a horrible dream that Frank's big suprise was that he has joined the Democrats and was going to be heading up Kerry's campaign in Florida, drumming up support, starting with the monkey's at the zoo.

#40 - Posted by: Wolf's Dawn on July 9, 2004 09:05 AM

Love the new look, Frank. I am, however, having problems with your blog links. Sometimes they show up, sometimes they don't.

Brass

#41 - Posted by: Brass on July 9, 2004 09:52 AM

aaaaaieeeeeeeeee - too much red! Content layout is great though

#42 - Posted by: Dan on July 9, 2004 09:53 AM

Frank,

Michelle Malkin is modeling your "Nuke the Moon" shirt on her blog.

Way to go dude.

#43 - Posted by: Travis on July 9, 2004 09:58 AM

I *love* the new look! It loads MUCH faster and looks very organized. I was actually hoping that your "SUPER SURPRISE" would be that you're now seriously dating your t-shirt babe. She's adorable! I can't help it... I'm always matchmaking.

#44 - Posted by: IowaSoccerMom on July 9, 2004 09:59 AM

Happy blogiversary (I can't believe I said "blogiversary")!
Quick question, were in the world are you gonna find an extension cord long enought to power your lazer?

#45 - Posted by: Kevin on July 9, 2004 10:56 AM

Happy 2nd Frank. And best wishes for many more to come!

So this is the big surprise. All I can say is wow.

#47 - Posted by: James Old Guy on July 9, 2004 11:10 AM

Umm... How come every time I link to Frank, it never shows up on TrackBack?

#48 - Posted by: Reed The Viking on July 9, 2004 11:40 AM

"How about a picture of Micheal Moore with his head cut off, with his commie blood filling in the red? Just a suggestion."

SIGpro, we're above that. Only terrorists cut off heads. Myself being a Viking, I'm a fan of looting his home, burning it down, and raping his wife... Well actually, his wife is probably too horrible to fathom, and raping her would probably turn my soul black, leaving me a damned imp for all of eternity. How about a picture of a Viking slapping Mikey Moore in the face with the broad side of his Battle Axe... Or Thunder Hammer... Or War Mace. Or something else big that Vikings use. Leave beheading to those filthy terrorists, the only people that deserve that kind of death are the people who did it in the first place.

#49 - Posted by: Reed The Viking on July 9, 2004 11:48 AM

Ooooh instead of looting the house and setting it on fire, how about crazy gluing all the cabinets shut and putting a lock on the fridge? I think he would hate that more than anybody raping his wife

#50 - Posted by: Wolf's Dawn on July 9, 2004 12:06 PM

I'm partial to the idea of whalloping Moore with my Oversized Right-Wing Hammer of Doom, aka Commiebasher. But that's just me. :o)

Way to go, Frank! I posted my link last night, because otherwise I wouldn't be able to do it until this evening. Once again, congrats and happy blogiversary!

#51 - Posted by: AWG on July 9, 2004 12:09 PM

would that it were so, IowaSoccerMom, would that it were so.
