Do you consider hurricanes to be unlucky, or are they the result of bad luck? #1 - Posted by: LC Trucido on August 13, 2004 12:03 PMHurricanes are Mother Nature's punishment for something...Janet Reno probably. You Floridians musta done a whopper though to have 2 on the way. How come they didn't name the second hurricane "Clyde?" They're also really cool if you like wind tunnels. I remember trying to walk on the beach during Felix and kind of laying into the wind. Getting stung by sand flying at 70mph was a bit of a downer. The outer edge of Bonnie gave us a couple tornados yesterday (made for sweet news broadcasts...but bad for people that it hit), and we'll get the weaker side of Clyde tonight (the eye is gonna be just west of us).
