A sane celebrity! Who'd a thunk it?

#2 - Posted by: Exile on August 26, 2004 01:54 PM

that's beautiful. "why are we rock stars? because we're morons." classic.

i now heart alice cooper. wayne and garth are smart.

#3 - Posted by: sarahk on August 26, 2004 02:19 PM

It just doesn't get any better than that... unless it was sarahk saying that she "hearts" me!!

(grin)

#4 - Posted by: Over The Top on August 26, 2004 02:24 PM

Might Alice has spoken. Yep Sarahk is hot, but can she cook?

#5 - Posted by: James Old Guy on August 26, 2004 02:32 PM

yes she can.

#6 - Posted by: sarahk on August 26, 2004 02:38 PM

So she claims, but it must be proven!

#7 - Posted by: Frank J. on August 26, 2004 02:42 PM

#8 - Posted by: sarahk on August 26, 2004 03:10 PM

And Alice Cooper (real name Vincent Furnier) is a Christian.

I have always had the utmost respect for him. You can catch him selling golf clubs on commercials every once in a while. I remember seeing one when I worked at the country club.

'Welcome To My Nightmare' was his greatest work, in my humble opinion.

That was great, thanks.

Treasoness ronin!!

#9 - Posted by: Joshua on August 26, 2004 04:01 PM

Okay. So now Alice Cooper and Iced Earth are on my list of rockers to listen to.

#10 - Posted by: rightwingduck on August 26, 2004 04:15 PM

I always knew Alice was da man! Hey, with Ted, motorcity madman, Nugent and now Alice, school's out, Cooper on our side we're invincible! Rock 'n roll, kill what you eat yeeeehaaa!

#11 - Posted by: Connecticut Yankee on August 26, 2004 04:20 PM

YES!!!

I've always loved Alice Cooper... this just gives me another reason to like him even more.

sings: "No More Mr. Nice Guy!"

#12 - Posted by: Kyle on August 26, 2004 04:38 PM

Alice is a local guy. We in Phoenix heart him a lot!! (I think he plays golf with Glenn Campbell).

#13 - Posted by: jonag on August 26, 2004 05:16 PM

I agree with jonag. We in Phoenix do love him! Well, at least like him a lot.

I would like to seem him beat Bon Jovi with sack of dead mice.

#14 - Posted by: Carl P on August 26, 2004 05:38 PM

I saw this linked from Drudge today - at least some rockers do think the "right" way. Heh-heh.

Good 'ol Ted Nugent - he is awesome, lives in Michigan, and is just plain great. I heard him on Flint Talk Radio many moons ago, and he was excellent. I loved it when he was on Hannity & Colmes last, just blasted Colmes to a pile of smoldering ..... stuff.

#15 - Posted by: Scott Sanburn on August 26, 2004 05:48 PM

It must be something he picked up from his neighbor, Barry Goldwater.

#16 - Posted by: Bob in Feenicks on August 26, 2004 06:11 PM

Alice and The Nuge. Just waiting for Jello Biafra to put in his 2 cents.

California Über Alles!

#17 - Posted by: El Jefe on August 26, 2004 07:20 PM

FCUK JELLO BIAFRA...he's a commie.

#18 - Posted by: Joshua on August 26, 2004 07:27 PM

My fellow Americans--I mean all of you who aren't votin' for that guy who's fixin' to steal my job: As of this very day, I have deputized Alice Cooper in the ongoing effort to root out and destroy seditious and terrorist elements here in the homeland. He now has official authority to carry a flamethrower for use against any such treasonous morons as he should find. Thank you, and vote Bush... um... vote Bush... *pause* Oh yeah, Bush-Cheney '04!

#19 - Posted by: George W. Bush on August 26, 2004 09:01 PM

Gotta love Alice...

He's great on the evening shows he does.

Would be listening to him right now if it weren't for the fact that I live in a trailer that kills all radio waves.

#20 - Posted by: Trendy on August 26, 2004 09:54 PM

--Sorry, Joshua... "Love it to Death" is the absolute pinnacle of Alice's career albums. Pure genius.

--Trendy... what shows does Alice do???

--I'm going to go see him in Reno on Oct 30th... he does amazingly cool Halloween stuff. Been listening to his stuff for lots of years now.

#21 - Posted by: Devil_Dog on August 27, 2004 12:46 AM

does he still do the "I love the dead before there cold" Cold Ethel.

and guilotine himself?

I thought he'd mellowed a bit since the 70's

#22 - Posted by: Joshua on August 27, 2004 01:32 AM

kid Rock is ok too.

'member he observed that he'd rather go to the bar across the street than join his companions who intended to view mike al-moore's garbage?
