Quick VP Debate Analysis
Cheney for president! The debate was like an experienced statesman - Cheney for instance - against Scrappy Doo. Well, I hope Bush does better than last time on Friday, or it's fist shaking time! BTW, like I said I would, I did play a computer game while watching this debate. It was Far Cry, and I killed many people while sneaking through the jungle listening to Cheney verbally pound the little trial lawyer. 22 Responses To "Quick VP Debate Analysis"
Claiming First...For the First Time...ha ha ha...Edwards looked like a Fool. He was wearing his AssHat proudly and the skidmarks showed every time he opened his cess...er...mouth. The best line of the debate was when Cheney admitted that last night was the first time he had met Deadwards...even though Cheney has been President Pro Tempe for almost four years...Ha ha ha what a Lampoon that was... #1 - Posted by: POL_CAT12 on October 6, 2004 07:08 AMdoesn't edwards know hes a senator now? he needs to leave all that ambulance chasing for when the senate isn't in session. #2 - Posted by: puschmj on October 6, 2004 07:21 AMCheney came across as very smart. I was impressed. #3 - Posted by: 007 on October 6, 2004 07:33 AMI heard a news person say of the debate, "...the number ones could learn a thing from their number twos..." I wonder how Cheney felt about being called "number two"? I think it's clear Cheney won, despite citing "factcheck.com" instead of the correct "factcheck.org". the debate I think sucked. Edwards was throwing all these chihuahua punches, and Cheney was in the corner filing his nails and napping. I of course saw this as Cheney not stooping to even respond to some of the stuff Edwards kept pooping out...I just hope that the American people can see through all of the Bullshi* #5 - Posted by: 2makeshiftwings on October 6, 2004 08:23 AMWere you watching the debate on split-screen? Edwards kept making faces while Cheney was talking. That and rolling his huge tongue over his face and smacking his lips whenever he took a drink. I'd vote against him just for that. #6 - Posted by: Feleron on October 6, 2004 08:38 AMi had so much fun watching last night. just kept shouting "WHEE!" and laughing at Skippy. #7 - Posted by: sarahk on October 6, 2004 08:42 AMCheney-Chomps came close to living up to my expectations. He got the BreckGirl in his jaws, flung him around a bit, but then spit him out. I wanted to see a wee bit more blood. #8 - Posted by: LynnGunn on October 6, 2004 08:44 AMI was hoping that Lord Vader would use the Force to wring Edwardmonkey's neck. Where can I get a picture of monkey-boy with his eyes crossed and toung wag'n? What was the deal with him ripping sheets from his notepad every time Cheney was answering a question? Tell me you wouldn't have like to see Cheney say "Fuc* off you nit-wit." when responding to chimp-chimp's comments on his daughter. GRRRR!! That's it ... I'm going to my happy place. Wait a second ... I'm already on IMAO.us. #9 - Posted by: tacberry on October 6, 2004 09:02 AMI wouldn't put it past some inventive soul to create an "Election 2004" mod for FarCry or other such FPS. Corny as it may be, you know someone, somewhere has digital versions of Bush and Kerry running in terror from a chaingun ... #10 - Posted by: Monque on October 6, 2004 10:11 AMThey should introduce the people with theme music, like pro wreslting. Cheney obcioulsy gets the "Imperial March" from The Empire Strike Back. He is that good. John Edwards? Hmm, maybe the Rice-a-Roni Theme (the San Fransico Treat!). Still, I wish Cheney had some brass knuckles or something to make it exciting. #11 - Posted by: Kristian on October 6, 2004 10:47 AMAh yes, I love the idea of the Imperial March for Cheney, I still consider it the Republican theme song - I love it when it is bellowing from my Bose system in the Evil Tahoe Terror - black and ready to run over liberals and hippies (same difference) Edwards theme song should be the Barbie Song. I'm a Barbie Girl...... you can undress me everywhere...... Everytime I hear that song, I am reminded of the G. Gordon Liddy sing-a-long he did back in 1996. I still crack up every time I hear that. #12 - Posted by: Scott Sanburn on October 6, 2004 11:08 AMYES!!! Far Cry is the bomb! #13 - Posted by: LC Trucido on October 6, 2004 11:08 AMChrist, it was like Edwards got called down to Principal Cheney's office. I was expecting Dick to give him detention for missing all of those votes. #14 - Posted by: Jon on October 6, 2004 12:16 PMPersonally, I would have loved to see Cheney telling the Kerry-Edwards team that it isn't about "the Global Test" but Global Testicles, which the Bush-Cheney team has shown time and again with their actions in handling the thugs in Afghanistan and Iraq. #15 - Posted by: M Dubyak on October 6, 2004 12:20 PMJust started playing Far Cry, and am about to storm the fort. Wonderful eye candy and badass weapons, but it's kinda hard to gauge the AI's ability to spot me. #16 - Posted by: Sam on October 6, 2004 01:27 PMyay, farcry! #17 - Posted by: J I Erde on October 6, 2004 03:07 PMHere's the pre-debate dialogue they don't want you to read!!! Overheard shortly before the start of the debate... Edwards: What's a switch? How do I pick one? And why are we going into this woodshed? Cheney: Pipe down, son. (to Bush) Now Mr. President, pay close attention and take copious notes. #18 - Posted by: shepshep on October 6, 2004 03:18 PMUh oh, posts about music. We all know my obsession with theme songs (those who saw my big spree of about 8 posts back in late July/Early august/whenever it was anyway). For Cheney, I was thinking the main theme from "Evil Genius", if anyone has played that. Its wonderful:). #19 - Posted by: LokiVBismarck on October 6, 2004 03:30 PMI also noticed the page ripping by TheKenDoll, as well as the really lame facial expressions. What's that all about? Is this some new ploy-method of distraction from the stronger, wiser, more experienced Cheney and redirection towards the prettyboy or what? I loved the looks Cheney gave, very much like what I'd envision Chomps' eyes to look like when prowling some Hippie in a dark alley... Also, I got a great kick outta the impression Cheney gave that he simply refused to crouch down to Edwards' level of taunting. Here's something frightful. Listening to the call-in responses, most were in favor of Kerry/Edwards... Overall, amusing. #20 - Posted by: Veda on October 6, 2004 03:56 PMIf these wannabes are so concerned about a nuke attack, why wait for the "global test" to pass? By then, America will have vanished from earth, duh! #21 - Posted by: Judy White on October 6, 2004 04:35 PMHeh, I was playing StarWars Battlefront so basically, when Cheney came out, it was the Imperial March! Fun game btw, when you get done with FarCry (as I have and it is much fun), you should pick it up next :) #22 - Posted by: Murp on October 6, 2004 04:38 PMPost a comment
