Links of the Day
Andrew Sullivan has a hilarious quote from the State Department. He also has an endorsement of John Kerry, which is just slightly less surprising than the New York Times's endorsement. Somewhat related, Christopher Hitchens comes out for Bush in an article actually published in The Nation (I thought they banned him for using rational thought?). If you want more election advice from people who can't vote in the U.S. Presidential Race, check out this site. Take note of the blurb up top. Maybe we should remind other nations that we have lots of bombs and are pretty antsy. Going back to my post this morning about the desperation of the Democrats, look at this debate (or shout down) with Swift Boat vet John O'Neil. 28 Responses To "Links of the Day"
Great essay by Hitchens. Definitely link worthy. #1 - Posted by: ChrTh on October 26, 2004 07:11 PMFirst gee if these euroweenies want a piece of us so bad they know where we are funny if we really did want to pick the prez of other countries i think the frogs would have a different leader right now go W damn thought i was first lol #3 - Posted by: gbfan001 on October 26, 2004 07:13 PMgood stuff. i posted this on my site: http://www.cheeseandbacon.net/archives/2004/10/ouch.html shows how much of a traitor Kerry is. makes me wonder if he'd be that willing to help out some terrorists. Should we call him John Kerry-Walker Lindh?? #4 - Posted by: Dave on October 26, 2004 07:16 PMIsn't it cute? Those people in other nations actually think we care about their opinion. What a bunch of sillies! #5 - Posted by: jonag on October 26, 2004 07:22 PMI read that transcript at Michelle's site and then went over to msnbc for the rest, yesterday. sorry for the bad spelling the name-it's LaWrence. I have to wonder how many of those people casting votes for who they want as OUR president have -or even CAN- vote for their own leaders? I mean, there's Cuba, Saudi Arabia, and China to name a few. They really know about democracy, don't they? #9 - Posted by: Bob in Feenicks on October 26, 2004 07:41 PMThanks for the link Frank. Went from Michelle's to the SBVT site. Folks, you HAVE to listen to that interview. OMG... O'Donnell is absolutely an ASS. To sit and say Liar, Liar, Liar is the refuge of scoundrels (or idiots). If the SBVT are LIARS f'in PROVE IT. THE DEM'S CAN'T BECAUSE THE SBVT ARE TELLING THE TRUTH. I'm going to be glad (I think...) Wednesday when this sheist ist uber. (went to German so not to offend Sarah K). I despise Kerry, even more than the First Philanderer, Mr. Clinton. Listening to this effete elitist commie frenchman for four years would be too much to bear. #11 - Posted by: Mongo on October 26, 2004 08:02 PMyou said doo doo #12 - Posted by: Dave in Texas on October 26, 2004 08:50 PMI think it translates to poo poo. #13 - Posted by: jonag on October 26, 2004 08:54 PMwhat a bunch of nut jobs. I didn't realize that there were that many people in the world stupid enough to vote for Dennis Kucinich (or the other non-kick-terrorist-ass types). #14 - Posted by: prolix on October 26, 2004 09:00 PMThis Kerry/Hanoi story will be the dagger in the heart for the Kerry campaign. Finally, undeniable proof of his traitorous actions*. *If the documents are real, which they have been confirmed as #15 - Posted by: Turkeyhead on October 26, 2004 09:20 PMAwww ... there goes Europe trying to feel important again. #16 - Posted by: Dave on October 26, 2004 09:24 PMYou tried not to offend SarahK, and you ended up offending me. The correct American-alphabet spelling of the German word is Schiesse (German nouns are capitalized). Use this knowledge wisely, young ronin. #17 - Posted by: ChrTh on October 26, 2004 09:26 PMI noticed an amusing link in your google ads. Stop by href="http://laterbush.com/">here and say how you want to see Bush later(In the oval office for the next four years.) #18 - Posted by: Ikkonoishi on October 26, 2004 11:26 PMChrTh: Dude, if you're gonna write a spelling flame, you should at least spell the alleged word correctly yourself. Scheiße, or Scheisse if you must. (I wouldn't have expected an ess-zet there, but if I'm reading Langenscheidt correctly, you can use it.) You know there's an ei there, 'cause it's a long i. #19 - Posted by: tabstop on October 27, 2004 01:09 AMOne of the moonbats over at the "Later Bush" site actually came up with a great slogan we can use: "Four More Wars!" The only problem is that there are so many countries out there. It'll be hard to pick just four. #20 - Posted by: Schlega on October 27, 2004 01:39 AMGeez Tabstop, I was JUST TRYING TO BE NICE TO SARAH K. Okay, I blew it, but meine grossmutter sprecht low Deuche. Does that get me off the hook or do I have to read Goethe? BTW I SLEEP at 1 AM, ESPECIALLY AFTER MY CARDINALS HAVE FUBARED THE WORLD SERIES. NOW WE HAVE TO COME BACK IN FOUR GAMES STRAIGHT TO VINDICATE THE BABE! #21 - Posted by: Mongo on October 27, 2004 05:54 AMFunny, Frank, they didn't have Iraq on that list (of who they would vote for if they could.) THAT could have been embarrassing if it went for the wrong man, huh? #23 - Posted by: Carin on October 27, 2004 09:09 AMYou can read Goethe if you want, but *I* certainly won't force you to. And speaking of irony, of course we could have predicted that Boston would win the first three; the most ironical thing that could happen is for StL to win the next four. At that point, I think it would be best for the BoSox to just fold, and start up a brand new team. Here's hoping! #24 - Posted by: tabstop on October 27, 2004 01:36 PMWell, looking at the international results should make Nader happy. #25 - Posted by: Fausta on October 27, 2004 06:01 PMCristopher Hitchens endorsed Kerry in Slate. #26 - Posted by: Mike Holt on October 29, 2004 10:47 AMIf you are looking for Yoga Mats or want to buy a Yoga Mat, some yoga Sticky Mats or just a single yoga Sticky Mat then Buy Yoga Mats at the best place to Buy Yoga Mat.
