More Radio Ads to Come
Because of all the Kerry and Edwards radio ads and allowing a draft-scare ad on my site, you may think I've sold out. And it's true. I like money. Still, I've now wrote a Bush ad which was produced by Scott McCollum. I'll put it up either today or tomorrow considering how good you all are. Speaking of political ads, I heard of the audio to this one on the Glenn Beck show and it seems spooky (horror movie spooky). I won't be able to see it until I get home from work, so tell me what you think and whether it's worth a push to actually get it aired in the battleground states. 11 Responses To "More Radio Ads to Come"
FIRST! #1 - Posted by: Blenster on October 26, 2004 11:04 AMI won't be able to watch it until later, either... Blenster #2 - Posted by: Blenster on October 26, 2004 11:04 AMIt is scary, but thought provoking. I wonder if anyone is trying to play the soundtrack backwards. I'll bet it says something in those vocals. #3 - Posted by: kjw on October 26, 2004 11:04 AMIt was pretty creepy. But, short on any argument, kwim? #4 - Posted by: Carin on October 26, 2004 11:06 AMI liked the ad. Pretty clear message. Though I’m not sure it would change anyone’s mind. It will make people who are voting for Bush want to vote for him even more. Someone who is voting for Kerry will just see this as a scare tactic – which it is. We all know that terrorists can’t vote, don’t want to vote, and sure as hell don’t want you to be able to vote either. The terrorists got the people of Spain to elect a socialist by blowing up a train and killing 200 people. Obviously, they’re hoping for a "turn your tail and run" president in office. No matter who you vote for, it will not stop the terrorists from wanting us to die. It will however, change the way we deal with terrorists. The difference between our two candidates is simple: Terrorist appeaser vs. terrorist killer. I understand that some people want world peace and all that hippy crap, but for right now that dream just isn’t realistic. There may come a time when world peace is obtainable, but first you have to go out and stop* (please read as: kill) those who threaten us. Peace does not come from being an isolationist, and ignoring the problem like we did from 1993-2001. But I digress. As a Christian, I pray for Peace EVERY night. Of course, how I pray that the peace will be attained is very different from what the patchouli smelling (and Jimmy Carter) crowd advocate. #6 - Posted by: Carin on October 26, 2004 12:43 PMGood thing I saw this one in the daylight. #7 - Posted by: Brass on October 26, 2004 04:11 PMvery creepy indeed....
Editor, it should have read.... Holy creepiness, Batman!! #9 - Posted by: Joshua on October 27, 2004 01:12 AMTaken from a Robert Asprin Novel....(hit or myth) Holy Batshit Fatman! #10 - Posted by: LokiDoki on October 29, 2004 12:07 AMI like this... Post a comment
