Deja Vu All Over Again
There has been a lot of talk of wouldn't it be ironic if Bush won the popular vote this election but lost in the Electoral College. That is looking like a possibility with him leading in almost all the national polls. But then I remember that back in 2000, there was tons of talk of the exact same thing - Bush winning the popular vote but losing in the Electoral College. No one mentioned the possibility of what really happened. Just thought I'd point it out; deja vu to that 2000 mess is bad. Well, maybe I can help widen the gap with the new ad I helped make for Bush. Should I release the mp3 for it now or tomorrow morning? 17 Responses To "Deja Vu All Over Again"
release it now, oh yeah, and FIRST! #1 - Posted by: tickletickle on October 26, 2004 02:27 PMnow! So, who's really first? Time stamp equal, me first on the comments, so it's gotta be me!!! #3 - Posted by: tickletickle on October 26, 2004 02:28 PMI'm an American, so I like instant gratification. Give it to us NOW! #4 - Posted by: kevkersey on October 26, 2004 02:28 PMgrrr :shakes fist: #5 - Posted by: gaskar on October 26, 2004 02:30 PMtickletickle, "FIRST" is determined by the time, not order of display. Since you and gaskar posted at the same time, we'll have to send it to the Supreme Court for them to render a verdict. I would recommend that both of you set up your FIRST Cabinets in advance of the decision. #6 - Posted by: ChrTh on October 26, 2004 02:34 PMNow! But the question is, do I threaten the great Frank J. or do I try to appease the great Frank J.? Give or I'll break your kneecaps and serve you breakfast in bed! #7 - Posted by: indorphin on October 26, 2004 02:34 PMThis election will be decided on October the 31st when the Redskins play. The Redskins have accurately determined every election for like 70 years. Of course, if the Redskins lose, then the tradition will have to be broken. #9 - Posted by: Craig on October 26, 2004 02:49 PMUndecideds always break against the incumbent, the last Redskin's home game before the election is always an accurate predictor, and no one comes back from 3-0... #10 - Posted by: Frank J. on October 26, 2004 02:51 PMRelease it next week! Come on, we know you're fishing for a compliment. #11 - Posted by: Francesco Poli on October 26, 2004 02:52 PMTsk tsk Frank #14 - Posted by: Laura on October 26, 2004 04:33 PMActually the popular vote vs the electoral college mess was predicted by GrandMaster Rush Limbaugh before the 2000 election. He was asked in an interview what would happen if Bush won the popular vote and lost the electoral college. He said, "Bush would congratulate Gore and go home." Then Rush was asked what would happen if the reverse occured. Rush said, "Then Gore will sue everyone he has to in order to become president." #15 - Posted by: xxlbriefs on October 27, 2004 12:35 PM3-0 wait, Bush has only had 1 term! dangit #16 - Posted by: Dave in Texas on October 27, 2004 11:38 PMI like this...
