Links of the Day
It's LaShawn Barber's blogiversary, and she has a bunch of great celebratory links about the election. Greyhawk has how troops are reacting to the election in Iraq. How can someone named Smiley be so angry? Bob has the story. Spoons is all over the looming threat of S.P.E.C.T.R.E. I still stand by my idea I mentioned while liveblogging. Though Ebert has been annoying me with his liberal views increasingly creeping into his reviews, the move Michael Moore Hates America got two thumbs up from Ebert & Roeper, saying that, despite its titles, it's actually a quite positive movie. Go here for the audio. Sounds like a good movie to watch in a victory celebration... just like Team America. 11 Responses To "Links of the Day"
first? i got to see it with the star of the movie Mike Wilson :D #1 - Posted by: urban on November 5, 2004 06:09 PMAhhh. had a good dinner and now good links. is frank J finally working for the NRO or is this an imposter just trying to gain popularity through the Famous Frank J name? http://www.nationalreview.com/gaffney/gaffney200411051020.asp #3 - Posted by: Mobius One on November 5, 2004 07:03 PMFrank...it's time. Time for you to send out to the call for all Americans whining and "threatening" to move to Canada to put their money where their maple syrup is...and move. That's right, tell them to move! Tell them to stop stalling and git! Think of just how super of a superpower we could be without all those cowardly liberals holding us back! #4 - Posted by: Al_the_Marine on November 5, 2004 07:24 PMSo Frank, I saw "Michael Moore Hates America" at the freedom Film Festival in Los Angeles which took place about six weeks ago. The movie is great. It is really a rebuttal to Moore's distorted view that the U.S. is a place of dispair where there is no hope of success. It shows a more realistic and hopeful version of America. People need to spread the word and see it if and when it gets theatrical distribution. #7 - Posted by: jt007 on November 5, 2004 09:45 PMJust got back from seeing The Incredibles... it was, well, you know... I can't say it. It would be too much. It was... It was... Incr... GO FRIGGIN' SEE IT!!! #8 - Posted by: Editor on November 6, 2004 12:46 AMWe really need to let Specter know that his position is at the Republican caucus's pleasure. I think a perfect way to do that would be for hundreds of plush pink elephants to be sent to Specter's office. http://www.boldlygoingnowhere.net/se/2.html As long as the left continues to think it was "bigoted, anti-gay rednecks" that shut them down they will continue to lose. As long as they continue to think it was "moral issues" that caused them to lose they will continue to lose. As long as they continue to be condescending in their attitude to the rest of America and the world they will continue to lose. As long as they continue to believe taxes have nothing to do with the economy and Iraq had nothing to do with the war on terror they will never understand why they lost 2004 and why they will continue to lose in the future. #11 - Posted by: Faith+1 on November 6, 2004 09:43 AMPost a comment
