Who Are We Supposed to Target?
Posted by Frank J. at 07:04 AM | View blog reactions | Comments (22)

Eason Jordan has inspired me to create a great new t-shirt design to send to our troops:

See? Now they have fair warning. Everyone is happy.

Muh ha ha ha!

(that's my happy laugh)

Shouldn't it be a bulls eye?

#1 - Posted by: ptownmatt on February 10, 2005 07:12 AM

Yeah ... definately a bullseye!

#2 - Posted by: Evan on February 10, 2005 07:40 AM

You're a sick man, Frank. Sick, I tell you - stark, raving crazy! You'd give lunatics a bad name! Mad, even whack-o!

I like that in a guy....

Did this real quick before heading off to work. Couldn't figure out how to do a non-filled in circle with my Corel Photopaint program so I just stole the cross out from this shirt.

Love it! But I agree, should be a bullseye like those old Bin Laden Shirts with Rather or Eason Jordon in the background all fuzzy!

#5 - Posted by: oddybobo on February 10, 2005 09:03 AM

Oooh I want one!

#6 - Posted by: seandwic on February 10, 2005 10:34 AM

Lovin it! Always good for a laugh, Frank J.

Funny, my happy laugh sounds just like that too. It drives my husband nuts (he doesn't understand that it's just not humor unless some sort of pain is involved!).

Since the picture is of Dan Rather, shouldn't the word "reporters" be in quotes?

#10 - Posted by: Silicon Valley Jim on February 10, 2005 12:07 PM

Silicon Valley Jim,
I was waiting for a comment along those lines.

#11 - Posted by: Frank J. on February 10, 2005 12:09 PM

Cross-hairs like through a rifle scope might be easier than bull's eye. Or a laser dot to forehead. Maybe you can do one for Jordan, too. And Jennings, etc. whole line to pick the one you dislike most. Mine would be Judy Woodruff.

#12 - Posted by: Amelia on February 10, 2005 12:19 PM

Might I suggest a rifle scope reticle such as those on this site?
I don't know anything about them as a place to buy scopes, they just had some nice examples of reticles.

#13 - Posted by: TxDan on February 10, 2005 12:39 PM

Since somebody requested a bull's eye and Frank had to go to work here y'all go.

Frank,
Put your top ten list for targeting them on the back, and I'd buy this shirt. And another for some lefties I know. Just to piss them off.

#15 - Posted by: SCSIwuzzy on February 10, 2005 02:18 PM

Frank;
Not bad as is. I'd add "& Dan Rather Too" in small print below the image (just so "real" reporters don't take "offense" at a possible "link" with that hack).

Urinalistically Yours;

Any chance of getting that design sent to thoseshirts.com?

#17 - Posted by: Brian from Utah on February 10, 2005 06:39 PM

I'll buy it if it becomes available. Definitely needs some kind of cross-hairs and the list on the back as mentioned above.

#18 - Posted by: chaika on February 10, 2005 07:30 PM

OOO!!!! where do i sign up for one?

Is my military discount total or do i pay shipping and handling charges?

#19 - Posted by: Trendy on February 10, 2005 09:24 PM

Will it come in camo? 'Cause I think that would be a big seller.

#20 - Posted by: Scott P on February 11, 2005 10:31 AM

To look authentic, it would have to be OD.
Unless is was a jacket.
A non-black IMAO shirt for SarahK to model?

#21 - Posted by: SCSIwuzzy on February 11, 2005 04:20 PM

If it's black, USAF can wear it, brown is kosher for Navy and Army, OD for USMC
