Fun Trivia

Why do so many superheroes wear masks?

Probably because they're pedophiles and hiding from the law. Only trust a superhero who isn't afraid to fight crime unmasked, showing off his proud, Aryan features.

...But that doesn't explain why so many superheroes are pedophiles hiding from the law underwater!

Wait... that was just that guy in the green Speedo who wasn't really a superhero anyway. But we can't mention his name here.

#2 - Posted by: MitsurugiBabaganoosh on February 23, 2005 10:37 AM

I prefer a mask on my superhero! They are about mystery and fun, and they get smacked around a lot so their face is probably all ugly and scarred anyway.

#3 - Posted by: oddybobo on February 23, 2005 10:47 AM

Superfly doesn't wear a mask, and he's not Aryan. He's cooooool.

#4 - Posted by: jonag on February 23, 2005 11:04 AM

No, he's not aryan, but he is an alien. You're really going to rely on some guy from outerspace with the ability to conquer the world to protect you?

Come on people that's the height of liberalism--nonono, the government will protect us from the government! We're free because everything belongs to the people--even if it is all controlled and doled out to us by the government.

You're giving the guy your keys to freedom, and he's from outer space!

I say kryptonite his butt and get Captain America up in this piece.

Do you think Aquaman is holding secret white/fish power rallies in his relative security deep within the ocean?

#6 - Posted by: Brian C on February 23, 2005 11:47 AM

Hey, I'm Brian C. too!

#7 - Posted by: Brian on February 23, 2005 11:50 AM

Among the superheros I like least, Valtrex Man has to be the worst.

Stephen Lynch fans will understand that one...

#8 - Posted by: Confederate Yankee on February 23, 2005 12:00 PM

He is always opressing Black Manta...

#9 - Posted by: Frank J. on February 23, 2005 12:01 PM

Brian, Superman > Superfly

#10 - Posted by: spacemonkey on February 23, 2005 12:08 PM

That was supposed to indicate not equal, not greater than. Foiled by HTML.

#11 - Posted by: spacemonkey on February 23, 2005 12:10 PM

is aquaman trying to spread filthy lies on the other super heroes to distract us from the fact that he is an animal "lover" (wink wink say no more say no more...)

#12 - Posted by: frenchman on February 23, 2005 12:11 PM

Aryan? Thor, that's Aryan!

#13 - Posted by: Connecticut Yankee on February 23, 2005 12:17 PM

I'll have you all know that the first villians I ever fought were Nazis. How many of you here ever fought Nazis?

Hmm, I don't see any hands up...

#14 - Posted by: Aquaman on February 23, 2005 12:47 PM

So you're dissing my man Bats, issat it? Pvn|<, Batman would so jwn j00r a$$. Just look at the Protocols incident.

#15 - Posted by: Dave on February 23, 2005 12:53 PM

Aquaman, don't you read DKos? We all ARE Nazis, remember?

Seriously, though, I've decided I believe in reincarnation, just so I can say that I was George Patton in a previous life. Therefore, I've fought more Nazis than you can count, AND I wanted to roll through Berlin and take on the Russians.

Take THAT, Waterguy.

#16 - Posted by: Brian on February 23, 2005 12:54 PM

Virtual superheroes wear subnet masks.

#17 - Posted by: Laurence Simon on February 23, 2005 01:55 PM

It's that they're incredibly comfortable... I think everyone will be wearing them in the future

#18 - Posted by: Dan Chapman on February 23, 2005 02:08 PM

Once again:Aquaman is a rip-off of the Submariner! Namor came out in 1939 and fought the Nazis. DC came up with Aquaman in 1941, he also fought Nazis. I'm an adult comicbook fanboy, sue me. I am impressed that you have aged so gracefully.

As far as muscular, blond superheroes that don't wear a mask go THOR is the freakin' man!

#19 - Posted by: Good 'Ol Boy on February 23, 2005 02:40 PM

Give me Rex Steele Nazi Smasher over the water boy any day.

#20 - Posted by: Laura on February 23, 2005 02:56 PM

Good 'ol Boy, I told you we weren't supposed to mention that guy here! Now Aquaman's going to have to explain the difference! *runs and hides*
