Last I checked, Priscilla Owen is now confirmed, and at least two other judges will be confirmed soon. Bolton was not part of the deal, so holding that up as an example of Democrats breaking their word is inapplicable.

Adam seems to have had a bite of the moderate apple and is in the deep sleep of mediocracy where the middle of the road is atractive (until the rush hour comes). The citizens of this country voted a republican majority in the House and Senate as well as a Republican President. This is a very significant event and the leadership needs to act like winners by carrying out the will of the President, not shuffling about in fear with heads bowed to the minority. The responsibility of the president is to appoint judges who agree with the viewpoint of the Electorate (Red states)and leave this mark on the system for many years to come- and correct some of the foolishness of past judges.

Mccain needs to be retired to solve crossword puzzles in his garden at home at the earliest opportunity before he can do any more damage as a senator.
