SarahK, if there is one thing a man needs, it is respect. If you disrespect his stuff, you disrespect the man. FrankJ, disrespect from your woman cannot be tolerated. You have four choices: Get your pound of flesh, dump the chick (Even if she is a good tshirt babe), commit seppuku, or become a DIShonorable ronin who is completely p-whipped.

Let me put it to you another way: On the right is a sword, and on the left is SarahK's purse you'll have to carry around for the rest of your life. Remember, to choose the sword is death. To choose the purse is worse than death. What will it be?

Okay, I've finally come up with an idea for this week...

LAIR!!!

The roundtable sounds muffled.
Carl Rove should apologize to those people who were offended at his accurate discription of liberals were not smart enough to know how true his statement was.

#5 - Posted by: Laura on June 27, 2005 10:54 AM

The VOIP program we use for the roundtable wasn't working well last night--just one of the reasons why we no longer promote it's use.

Has anybody else noticed that SarahK
sounds just like Sandy the Squirrel on SpongeBob Squarepants?

Has anyone ever seen them together?
hmmmm....

#7 - Posted by: ford4x4 on June 27, 2005 03:40 PM

Karl Rove is an Evil Genius who sets clever traps for the Liberals. Laughing his socks off as Democrats near and far jump through hoops to castiagate supposed lies.

Rove willl not apologize for speaking the truth. Much to the chagrin of both Dems and Liberals alike.

Jack.

If any of you have a subscription to http://pro.imdb.com and can get me in touch with Carolyn Lawrence, let me know... We'd love to have her on IMAO to fight SarahK.

Hey guys!

Great job this week! This has to be the funniest podcast yet, IMO. The best line was "The average earthquake in California lasts 10 seconds which is equivalent to how much of Michael Moore film someone sees before they say, "This SUCKS!" HAhaha!

Glad ya'll explained the muffled voices at the roundtable, it was still hilarious regardless!

Great job again guys. Keep up the great work!

Far worse! What's going on? It's not improving. It sounded terrible and amateurish. You have to take it more seriously, increase quality levels, and become more professional. Otherwise, the only people who'll care anything about the podcast will be the hard-core fans you already have definitively, who wouldn't dare question anything you do.

#11 - Posted by: TAZZ on June 28, 2005 06:56 AM

The Podcast totally rocks! Apple released the new version of ITunes with support for podcasting, and you guys aren't on there! What gives? The only other free ones are from lame NPR stations. I suggest the funny be brought to a larger audience immediately.

=D
Five stars, if only because Frank said that the Matrix movies were the dumbest movies ever. I have been waiting for YEARS to hear someone else say that.

Things certainly zipped along this week. I could hear Harvey, too, but not Spacemonkey. But I don't think monkeys can talk very loud without screeching, so whatcha gonna do?

Thanks.

#13 - Posted by: Lionstone on June 28, 2005 09:34 AM

can I go ahead and publish the imao podcast on iTunes now that it has podcasts on the music store, or you guys already doing that?

#14 - Posted by: andrew on June 28, 2005 09:52 AM

Andrew,

We will self-publish the IMAO Podcast on iTunes soon; possibly on July 4.

Thanks for listening!

#15 - Posted by: The Real Scott on June 28, 2005 11:02 AM

or, if you're impatient like me, you can subscribe by going into the Advanced menu, and selecting "Subscribe to Podcast..." then put in the link to the XML feed.

I'm downloading the podcasts as we speak.

#16 - Posted by: macstansbury on June 28, 2005 01:02 PM

I'd suggest submitting IMAO to the iTunes Podcast Directory, so that you can spread it wider and wider and wider. Also, theres the tagging software that Apple's put out so that you can put happy bookmarks, links, and pics in your podcast that automatically show up. http://homepage.mac.com/applepodcast/podcasts/Resources/static/podcast_chapter_tool_beta.dmg.

#17 - Posted by: Gizmo on June 28, 2005 01:07 PM

Excellent, as usual.

My only complaint: the podcasts need to be longer.

My only complaint: the podcasts need to be longer.

Not for those of us who start their workweek off with the podcast, they don't. I can get away with a half hour of not working on Monday morning, but not 45 minutes or an hour. ;)

#19 - Posted by: Lionstone on June 29, 2005 09:00 AM

I totally love this. After reading you guys for the last year and a half it is great to finally put a voice to the post, and Sarah K is a nut.

Also, dumb question.

What does IMAO stand for?

#20 - Posted by: Dana Place on June 29, 2005 02:37 PM

Add the podcast to iTunes!!!

#21 - Posted by: on June 29, 2005 06:00 PM

Harvey has the perfect NPR voice. Very odd hearing him on IMAO.

Hope you don't take that as an insult.

Slowly...regaining...muscle...control

Okay...better - I just got caught up by listening to all of the podcasts back-to-back.
There is only one thought that has survived all the way through:
RWD sounds disturbingly like 'Caboose' from Red v Blue.
