and Frank J.'s eye is the sharpest!!

so we're watching an old episode of CSI from this season on the hi-def TiVo. Frank, the ever-scrutinizing, noticed that when Warrick Brown started thumbing through some money, the $100 bills looked super fake. i said, "but Sweetie, all the new money looks fake." the great Frank J. said, "no, but these look even faker than the fakest." so of course, we played it back frame-by-frame for intense analysis purposes, and what did we see?

each bill is stamped:

FOR MOTION PICTURE USE ONLY.

hahahahahahahahaha!!!! not kidding. oh, and Frank was sooooo proud of himself. and was quite sure that waiting for the HD-TiVo was the right move.

p.s. For pictures of Frank in his birthday suit present, go here.

It's like "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly"... Minus the good and the bad.

That's cause the Treasury department takes a VERY dim view of fake money that looks at all real :)

Hi, Frank and SarahK:

Just a word to the wise. The Secret Service/Treasury Dept. raided a Federal Office at L'enfant Plaza in DC. back in 1995.

Seems several Cubiclist worker bees were busted for making hundreds of fake one dollar bills on the office's new multi-color copier.

The Feds were not impressed with the worker bees' Sob Story that the bills were made to use in the Computer/Laser Merto-Fare Machines far under the Federal Building
to get to and from work each day.

Last I heard, six of the ten were still doing time at Meclinkburg Penitentiary in Central VA.

Also, check out the first twenty minutes of Willian Friedkin's "To Live And Die In LA". The scenes where Willem Dafoe is printing fake currency look very real.

They'd look even more real if Friedkin hadn't invited the Secret Service to a early preview.

The Feds watched the segment and strongly advised that three minutes of the process be either removed or re-shot.

Just some friendly advice. Besides, SarahK would probably look good in stiripes or a Blaze Orange Jumpsuit.

Jack.
