We could only be so lucky. One less ugly liberal in the world.

#2 - Posted by: belo on July 28, 2005 09:08 PM

Darn it never mind. Second & third. Actually, looking at the time TIED FOR FIRST!

Wow, she looks like one sad human being.

OMG, the 2005 Bulwer-Lytton winners are up!!!!

A sample:

Winner: Historical Fiction
Sphincter, the gladiator, girded his loins in preparation for today's games, glad to be part of the season opener since he hadn't been sure until yesterday that his contract would be renewed, given his slump during the Germans-versus-lions series but he knew that swatting Germans into the lion's pit was trickier than it looked and he told the officials that they should look at his other stats, not just Huns batted in.

Oh no you don't.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. The only reason I voted for President Bush is because Alec Baldwin promised to leave the country if W was elected. Last time I checked, he is still here.

Won't get fooled again!!!

The Wicked Witch from the Wizard of Oz is still alive?
I thought a house crushed her years ago. Put on a little more weight and a little more ugly, has she?

#8 - Posted by: Horrabin on July 28, 2005 10:02 PM

I'm confused. If all we need is one more liar, seems to me we'll need two if she kills herself. Damn Helen Thomas for depriving us of what we need!!!

#9 - Posted by: jademonkey on July 28, 2005 10:18 PM

Do us all a favor, Helen - don't wait for Cheney to run. Just pretend that he is...

#10 - Posted by: Master Shake on July 28, 2005 10:39 PM

We could just print some shirts and buttons to wear around her to see how serious she is.

#11 - Posted by: Mech on July 28, 2005 11:29 PM

C'mon Cheney! Run! Run! Heck, that bloated hunch-backed troll looks waaaay beyond its expiration date already..... Eeeeuuughhh!

Oh yeah, and don't forget to watch Firefly on SciFi channel tomorrow! 07/29! 6pm east coast time first half of 'Serenity' Pilot 7pm east coast time second half of the Pilot!

#12 - Posted by: LokiDoki on July 28, 2005 11:38 PM

oh please oh please oh please!!!!

WOOT! Firefly!

#13 - Posted by: Charlie Foxtrot on July 28, 2005 11:44 PM

I see you got my tipoff ;)

Either that or you *gasp* read the Drudge Report!

Either way... I think we should just wear T-Shirts congratulating Cheney around her. Come on. She's obviously a *very* confused person... she'd fall for it. We got rid of Saddam, we can take down another dangerous person! Let's win *another* one for the Gipper! ..and probably Ford for that matter :p

#14 - Posted by: The Apologist on July 29, 2005 01:08 AM

I think our shirts should read "He's tanned, rested and ready.....Dick Cheney for President!"
I'll bet he and the President are getting a good laugh out of this one!!

Frank: you'll want a more permanent link, such as this one:

http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=45493

http://www.drudgereport.com/flash1.htm is bound to change every few days, based on whatever Matt Drudge has heard but is not yet published (e.g. the Kerry affair).

I know, I know, "get your own blog." I'm just saying.

It's a great political trick these lefties pull, threatening suicide or emigration if <next Republican winner's name goes here> wins the election (or even just runs, in this case). I'm not being inSensitive; I just know that lefties always threaten suicide or emigration if Republicans succeed*, but they never carry them out.

* Nowadays, "if Republicans succeed" seems to be synonymous with "if the votes get counted properly." :-)

To Ms. Thomas:

Oompa, loompa, doopity do
Cheney will run
and it's curtains for you

(With apologies to oompa loompas everywhere)
