John Hawkins, Enemy of the State
ALERT: Do not visit RightWingNews.com. It was brought to my attention that RightWingNews.com is blocked by web filters of the U.S. Army Reserves, and we can only assume the reason is because John Hawkins is a subversive - possibly a Communist. If the Army deems him unacceptable, then I deem him unacceptable too and will immediately remove him from my blogroll... when I finally get to updating it in four or five years, that is.
Maybe I'm missing the point, but I work for the Army and it's not blocked.

I'm not sure how widespread it is (and bet it's got some silly reason to it; DU isn't blocked by the same filter). Are you in the Reserves?
No, not the reserves. It's a civilian position under the supervision of the Army.
Some of the filtering tools are EXTREMLY flawed. They look for key words in the text and when it meets it’s criteria it usually blocks the site

It's blocked for me, working as a gov contracter. hmmm sounds like a conspiracy.
