Friday Catblogging
Posted by Laurence Simon at 10:44 AM | View blog reactions | Comments (25)

Since it's Friday, I thought I'd spread the joy of humor-free, apolitical Friday Catblogging to IMAO (aka "I-MEOW").

Today, it's Frisky the Fluffball showing off his Devil costume:

Doesn't he look happy?

If you're not sure how this absurd scene pertains to IMAO, since IMAO is famous for that "political humor" thing, it doesn't. If you must have some semblance of politics or humor in everything you read here, just assume that Frisky is... um...

Help me out here. Make your suggestions in the comments how this scene is, in fact, a political allegory.

(For more animal goodness, try Friday Ark today and Carnival of the Cats on Sundays.)

It would be easier if it was a foil hat...

It's like an islamofascist hiding under a veil of civilization. Sure, there's a mask of something else on it, but underneath it's a viscious animal that only wants to kill you. Hehe. Cats.

"You can't stay awake forever...."

Just assume that Frisky is friend of Dubya and he's getting ready to be nominated for the Supreme Court.

#5 - Posted by: RightWingDuck on October 7, 2005 11:19 AM

Frisky is... um...ANGRY. verrrry AAANNNNGGGRRRYYY

#6 - Posted by: spacemonkey on October 7, 2005 11:50 AM

He's dressed as Karl Rove!

#7 - Posted by: Frank J. on October 7, 2005 11:51 AM

Somehow Frisky, in this get up, reminds me of Hillary Clinton.

#8 - Posted by: EarthenVessel on October 7, 2005 12:09 PM

Honestly, with the eyes and all it kind of looks like Frisky has some sort of a small devil thing attached to the back of his neck thats trying to eat his head...umm...(tries to think of something political about that)...much as the Democrats are eating away at the moral fibers of our society?

#9 - Posted by: Frostwulf on October 7, 2005 12:14 PM

He's actually thinking, "Simon, you are one opposable digit away from doom! Now get this thing off my head!"

#10 - Posted by: Undercover Hippie on October 7, 2005 12:16 PM

He looks like he's just woke up from a dream of intimate relations with Aqua Man and obviously the dream was a life changing (not for the better for the poor feline) experience which has this poor soul searching for a meaning to life... Way to AquaHomo!

I'll put a foil hat on Piper tonight. She's the craziest of the bunch.

#12 - Posted by: Laurence Simon on October 7, 2005 12:55 PM

that cat is going to leave a present on your pillow later -- better put the bedding up in a high safe spot

#13 - Posted by: cadet happy on October 7, 2005 01:36 PM

It's Rush Limbaugh hearing about the Harriet Miers nomination.

Fluffy=The Great Satin, the sofa is, of course, the Palestinians being oppressed by the Joooos!

He's trying to figure out how he can blame the way he's dressed on Bush.

#18 - Posted by: SKyeChild on October 7, 2005 03:18 PM

ooo thats one angry looking cat. I hope you can sleep with one eye open.

#19 - Posted by: Laura on October 7, 2005 03:49 PM

Damn! And I thought my cat could pull off the "I'm pissed" look. He's got nothing on Frisky... how did you get that on without losing a finger?

#20 - Posted by: RightWingConspirator on October 7, 2005 05:05 PM

Is that cat Nardo? It looks like Nardo. I like Nardo. Where's Nardo?

#21 - Posted by: Deon on October 7, 2005 08:15 PM

Pomoze Bog.

If I were Fluffy, I'd bite your balls off for making me wear such a ridiculous costume. Cats don't like that kind of crap, you know?

#22 - Posted by: Tsar Lazar on October 7, 2005 09:16 PM

I don't see how Bush can expect cats to wear hats like this without resorting to the draft.

#23 - Posted by: McWert Deglieb on October 8, 2005 04:08 AM

Frisky looks like he's about to yak.

Did he yak?

#24 - Posted by: Art Van Dolay on October 8, 2005 06:30 AM
