Lessons Learned from Election Day, 2005
Posted by Frank J. at 02:36 PM | View blog reactions | Comments (13)

* Even on odd numbered years, there are elections.

* Some people actually care about the fate of New Jersey.

* If I step on my cat's tail, she makes a sound that a cross between a monkey screech and chipmunk chatter.

* Arnold's ads of, "Vote for my propositions or I will crush you! I am Arnold!" were not particularly effective.

* Some election days don't have very many lessons.

Rating: 3.5/5 (1 vote cast)

some people are too stupid to live

I don't think "2005" is that odd.

No stepping on the cat's tail! (Unless you're recording it)

so let it be written.

so let it be done.

Another lesson: many Virginians are not disturbed by a constantly-raised eyebrow (though this Virginian certainly is).

#5 - Posted by: Sixth Sense on November 9, 2005 03:43 PM

Does this give new meaning to "raising Kaine"?

#6 - Posted by: longtabsigo on November 9, 2005 04:10 PM

Another lesson: New Jersey is officially property of the Girly Men. -_-

People in Maine like to pay extra taxes...since they passed 100 million dollars worth of bonds, which means we'll have to pay about 120 million to pay the bonds=loans off. I guess I knew that, since the democrats have run a dictatorship up here for centuries.
By the way, the did this at the same time as they cut one form of property tax. Some people are stupid.
I guess the Maine motto is "yea! Insolvency!!!"

Nice one made big laughs, ha ha

New Jersey is the greatest state in the Union, and judging from the growing conservative movement vs the shrinking uber-lib movement, I predict it will be red in time for 2008, or very soon thereafter.

People in San Francisco like to commit suicde, so they ban hand guns. Yay!

Oh you are so wrong. This means liberalism is resurrgent and liberals are going to win back the House and the Senate and the Whitehouse and everything else those rascally conservatives have stolen from them since 1994. They say this, even though there was NO NET CHANGE in the proportion of Ds to Rs in any government body. I guess considering how pathetic they have become in recent years, treading water really is victory.

Some lessons in the latest elections:

Spend enough money and dumb people will vote for you.

Any state where they espouse Arnold to be a member of the Far Right, is Far Left...

Arnold missed his chance to regain the youth of California by not screaming "Beeeaaattyy!!" leaping on the aging Lothario and pistol whipping him.

The media will virtually ignore any Democratic defeat: Anyone know who won the NYC mayoral race? Did the redistricting plan pushed by moveon.org and John Kerry make it in Ohio? I guess we will never know the answers to these questions...lol

If a meteorite strikes LA it will be blamed on Bush, but if Bush builds an anti Meteor gun, it will immediately be called the Bush Gun of World Domination by the "Mainstream" media.

As France moves toward chaos from roaming bands of Islamic thugs angry because of France's social state, California tells the governor they want France's social state. Sounds smart to me;)
