Friday Catblogging
Since it's Friday, I thought I'd spread the joy of humor-free, apolitical Friday Catblogging to IMAO (aka "I-MEOW"). Today, it's Nardo the Flippykitty trying out the new comforter: If you're not sure how this absurd scene pertains to IMAO, since IMAO is famous for that "political humor" thing, it doesn't. If you must have some semblance of politics or humor in everything you read here, just assume that Nardo is... um... Help me out here. Make your suggestions in the comments how this scene is, in fact, a political allegory. (For more animal goodness, try Friday Ark today and Carnival of the Cats on Sundays.) 11 Responses To "Friday Catblogging"
Bill Frist rolling over on ANWR. #1 - Posted by: Anty on November 11, 2005 09:14 AMThis depicts all us lazy Republican fatcats who have never worked a day in our lives but lounge around all day being waited on hand and foot by those we consider below us. Actually, if you take out "us" and "republican" that's a pretty factual analysis of the picture... hehe. kitties. #2 - Posted by: Tsymyn on November 11, 2005 09:21 AMObviously this cat was within 150 meters of a WP round going off and, as we watch, his lungs are breaking down and he's drowning in the residue of the cellulose of degraded lung tissue. This is a secret photo smuggled out of a comforter factory showing how corporate executives earn obscene profits by exploiting animals in product testing. This suffering feline clearly is being forced against it's will to recline, no, not just recline, but forced to sleep in an unnatural position. Again we have proof of how animals are exploited so that the wealthy can enjoy more than their fair share of comforting bed tops. These poor former pets, that were abducted from poor neighborhoods by corporate raiders, are actually allowed to eat all they want, so that their ample weight will more effectively stress the comforters under testing. #4 - Posted by: TimBone on November 11, 2005 10:37 AMMust.. love.. adorable.. cat... He's giving off lovable mind control beams. He must have just done something very wrong to the flower pot. Or not. It's Tom Delay's mugshot. #5 - Posted by: Kent on November 11, 2005 10:50 AMLook close, children, and you will see the sleeping beast of communism and its allure. Does it not seem innocent? Does it not seem warm and comforting? It claims to cover and block out the tyrannical design of monarch-imperial patterns, but I say to ye, there is more than what is seen on the surface. Who among us shall recognize the hidden fangs of the beast? The torturous claws which delight in killing, which draw the blood of the most meek? Do not be deceived by the promises of communal sharing, as yea, I assure you, in the end this creature will shred all the things you hold most dear, will draw blood from you again and again, will eviscerate the beauty of your own garden, and will demand you operate as the servant of its ever-unstoppable appetite. Never rest in your vigilance, my children. #6 - Posted by: McTANK on November 11, 2005 11:56 AMWhy do bloggers always talk about their cats? It's kind of weird. #7 - Posted by: Andrew on November 11, 2005 12:01 PMKitty is obviously impersonating Dennis Hastert laying down on drilling in Anwar! Kitty now wants a long hot shower, a shot of Jack and a cigarette! Acting like a Republican is dangerous work and get you...er...well...ugh...a stay in the Ned Beatty Suite and Kitty says "I'm a pitcher not a catcher...if you know what I'm sayin...not that there's anything wrong with that...if you are a faq or a dog or AquaMan or something!!! #8 - Posted by: USS Jimmy Carter Attack Submarine on November 11, 2005 12:17 PMNardo is obviously contemplating the politics of those two Panther cheerleaders. #10 - Posted by: blogRot on November 11, 2005 05:04 PMWell, I like this picture as I love cats, especially kittens. Granted cats tend to expose tehri bellies when they wish to fight, so the kitty is just pretending to nap. He awaits a victim to pounce, and I really miss it when my cats did that. #11 - Posted by: Green Baron on November 11, 2005 05:26 PMPost a comment
