Friday Catblogging
Since it's Friday, I thought I'd spread the joy of humor-free, apolitical Friday Catblogging to IMAO (aka "I-MEOW"). Today, it's Nardo the Stripey: If you're not sure how this absurd scene pertains to IMAO, since IMAO is famous for that "political humor" thing, it doesn't. If you must have some semblance of politics or humor in everything you read here, just assume that Nardo is... um... Help me out here. Make your suggestions in the comments how this scene is, in fact, a political allegory. (For more animal goodness, try Friday Ark today and Carnival of the Cats will be this upcoming Sunday, so send your catblogging links to submissions @ carnivalofthecats.com.) 11 Responses To "Friday Catblogging"
Nardo is a Democrat senator, trying to judge which way the polls tell them to move before declaring that they have a conviction to filibuster the appointment of the couch to the furniture court. Yeah, it don't make sense to me either, but at least I was FIRST #1 - Posted by: Brian The Adequate on February 10, 2006 10:25 AMThis is not political at all, but Nardo is just too damned Cute! He looks like my cat, Spaz, but Larry and I have already spoken about that. He assures me he hasn't been sneaking into mty home while I'm at work and playing second father to my cat. And, regardless of what the "Palestinians" and the Left say, I trust Jews. #2 - Posted by: DesertElephant on February 10, 2006 10:45 AMAs her poll numbers drop, sHillary looks back to the far left for support. (Apologies to Nardo for the comparison.) #4 - Posted by: Master Shake on February 10, 2006 03:28 PMNardo is the President of Iran, the one with the unpronouncable name and wants nukes, he's looking behind his back to watch out for those Israeli Defense dudes who want to put some 5.56s through his chest. Fortunately he can only look in one direction at a time. #5 - Posted by: Steven M on February 10, 2006 04:05 PMLook at how that levee sags under the weight of the mighty Lizard Hunter! It's about to break! Oh Nardo, if only you hadn't gone after the alligator. #6 - Posted by: Sarah on February 10, 2006 05:01 PMI think that cat has the form of a hammer and sickle on his fur...you raising commie cats, Lair? #7 - Posted by: sarasmom on February 10, 2006 08:13 PMCatrios looks to his left, and is startled to see there is nobody there. #8 - Posted by: John Nowak on February 10, 2006 09:13 PM(thought balloon) "I know I shouldn't watch, but the Democratic party is such a train-wreck these days that I can't help it." Nardo is obviously concerned about his "six" these days upon hearing of the success of Brokeback Mountain and all... #10 - Posted by: USS Jimmy Carter "Attack" Submarine on February 11, 2006 08:18 AMStanding between Nardo and the camera, completely blocking our view, are Ted Kennedy's wisdom, Howard Dean's sanity, and Hillary Clinton's integrity. Too bad; I really wanted a view of your cat. #11 - Posted by: Nathan on February 12, 2006 03:11 PMPost a comment
