Posted by sarahk at 03:10 PM | View blog reactions | Comments (21)

The latest IMAO Podcast, Friends Don't Let Friends Shoot Friends in the Face, is up! In this episode, there is lots of funny, lots of music, and new bumper music that scares me just a little bit. I heart xylophones!

In this podcast:

The IMAO gang go on a team-building quail-hunting trip! American Monkey returns with Olympic Winter sports monkey would like to see! SarahK interviews Kellie Pickler! Harvey has Fun Facts About Massachusetts! In World of Knowledge, Frank J. tells you everything you need to know about ports! and much more funny !

So you go download it now, and comment on it here! Yay!

Great stuff!!
Harvey, I can absolutly pronounce the letter R when I speak. I may live in Massachusetts but I do my best to avoid that dreadful Boston accent. Oh and the town of Worcester is not pronounced "Wooster" it sounds more like "Wusster" or if you live there "Wusstah".
Poor spacemonkey.

Laurence likes the meat.

Massachusetts speak:
That was wickkid (boston spelling)
Pissa divya mush.

American English translation:
That was really good my crazy friend.

Thank you for not talking about the yankees, Bucky "bleepin" Dent and bill buckner. We in Mass still have problems dealing with them.
I bid you all peace love and understanding,
all the best
Martin "Ceann Rua" Corbett

Just be grateful that I took the time to check the pronunciation on Worcester and didn't just pronounce it "War-chester" like I wanted to.

God Bless Google :-)

Now, this edition of the fun facts about the 50 states was the best one yet.

Let me know if you need some stuff on Alaska.

#7 - Posted by: The Mad Hatter on March 10, 2006 01:56 AM

...because they all weighed the same as a duck.

I love Monty Pyton references!

#8 - Posted by: Undercover Hippie on March 10, 2006 09:23 AM

Mad Hatter,
Fun Facts about Alaska is already recorded.
It would be in podcast #2.

#9 - Posted by: spacemonkey on March 10, 2006 10:11 AM

Alaska's a state?

#10 - Posted by: Laurence Simon on March 10, 2006 02:31 PM

You can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you.

This podcast was awesome.

#11 - Posted by: AndyB on March 12, 2006 07:39 PM

can somebody fix the july 25th podcast in itunes so that it will download?

#12 - Posted by: z on March 13, 2006 05:16 PM

z,
see if it works now.

#13 - Posted by: spacemonkey on March 13, 2006 05:36 PM

Indeed.

#14 - Posted by: Dov on March 13, 2006 07:37 PM

I listened to the previous podcast, and I appreciated your efforts. I did enjoy this one headlining Mr. Cheney's hunting adventure much more. You're getting better -- except for the bit about the art and the, er, corn. That was completely tasteless. Was that supposed to be the humor, it's sheer tastelessness?

Doppler can't download the podcast. That probably because of XML errors in the feed. To see a list of the errors, go to feedvalidator.org, paste "http://imaopodcast.com/podcast.xml" into the address field, and click Validate. Or just click the following link:

Sorry, that wasn't a link, was it? Try this:

Validate the IMAO Podcast feed

#17 - Posted by: Pat B. on March 13, 2006 11:54 PM

I had no idea our feed was invalid.

#18 - Posted by: spacemonkey on March 14, 2006 09:58 AM

Slick, that was part of a bigger sketch and the other parts are MIA.

#19 - Posted by: spacemonkey on March 14, 2006 10:01 AM

Hah! Now validate it!

#20 - Posted by: spacemonkey on March 14, 2006 10:56 AM

I find having a valid feed rather validating in and of itself...
