The point was, as you noted, to make fun of terrorist who have sub-par bomb-making skills.

The purpose, however, was to draw attention to two stories at the CENTCOM site - thus the links.

Harvey, You should know it's only okay to make fun of people's tragedies when Liberals say it's okay. Like when Cheney's friend got shot in the face in a hunting accident, it was a real hoot. When Terry Schiavo was murdered, it was lots of laughs joking about the folks who were trying to save her life. Anyone trying to talk someone out of killing their unborn baby is to be ridiculed. Get the picture? You're only allowed to laugh at things when the Democratic talking points say it's okay. I hope this clears things up, and that you'll please be more sensitive to the Liberal agenda in the future.

Also, what I found particularily interesting about the joke was the implication that these terrorists were idiots and that they were becoming less of a problem in Iraq -- on the same day they killed 17 people.

I have seen several jokes about Cheney's friend getting shot in the face. Some were funny, some were not.
