Know who was indicted today?

Not Rove!

20 Responses To "Fun Trivia"

Oh, so we are playing this game!

I love games!

Do you know who's job approval ratings hit a new low in a CBS News poll?

Bush!

Peace,

Monkey Faced Liberal

So much for being "ahead of the news cycle".

#2 - Posted by: Hawk on June 13, 2006 09:51 AM

Er, William jefferson, D - Bugtussel?

#3 - Posted by: captamerica on June 13, 2006 10:15 AM

MFL yopu ignorant slut. Do you really think Dubya cares about the totally unbiased CBS polls? Do you think anybody but you moonbats do? What happened to the liberal harpie that ran for the Duke's seat in California? What about the seat in Ohio? Losses, despite you polls.

Courage, MFL, courage.

#4 - Posted by: captamerica on June 13, 2006 10:18 AM

MFL thinks we are Bush zombies.

Hah!

#5 - Posted by: spacemonkey on June 13, 2006 10:18 AM

MFL was indicted for criminal stupidity?

(Were those the same polls where Kerry won the election? BWAH HA HA HA!)

#6 - Posted by: Master Shake on June 13, 2006 10:39 AM

"Rove" spelled backwards is "over". A coincindence? I think not.

MFL, FU (smiley face)

Guys, I said it below, and I'll say it here - creating the character "Monkey-Faced Liberal" to post "comments" is nothing less than comedic brilliance. The parody is dead-on - you've got him/her/it affecting a faux passive/aggressive demeanor belied by its own obsessive/compulsive need to attack your every post. Plus, here, it's overly defensive, rushing to cite questionable polling data - you've got MFL whistling in the dark!

The whole subtext you've given the MFL character is fantastic as well - you can even tell that he/she/it knows on a certain level it's not fooling anyone, and that there's some deep, deep troubling issues plaguing the poor creature.

Magnificent!

FrankJ:

By the way, the German word you were thinking of yesterday that means enjoying others misery is schadenfreude.

As in, "I experienced a delicious feeling of schadenfreude as I read the IMAO wingnuts' sputtering responses to my post on Bush's pathetic job approval ratings."

Mmm. I love me some Schadenfreude!

Peace,

Monkey Faced Liberal

Master Tang:

Your first effort at insulting was great.

I am sorry to say though that the second goes downhill though.

Not only do you repeat yourself, but now you make the pathetic argument that somehow the poll I cite is "questionable" -- when a quick look http://www.pollingreport.com/BushJob.htm">here
shows that this poll is just more evidence in a general trend showing Bush's approval ratings hovering in the mid to low 30s. (Fox's most recent poll had him at 35.)

Come on Master Tang. You can do better.

Peace,

Monkey Faced Liberal

And now you've got MFL popping back up to lecture us, trying to put a brave face on because s/he realizes how pathetically over-defensive its previous post was. Excellent - you can actually feel its pathetic desperation. That's actually a good tactic - there's some weird alchemy to comedy that often makes it more effective if on a certain level you pity the butt of the joke. Think of Don Knotts, for example: he built a whole career on that premise.

MFL is a sterling comedic creation, Frank - it should have its own place in the "In My World" pieces.

Frank - How long before we can buy the t-shirt?

#12 - Posted by: Pat Rand on June 13, 2006 11:28 AM

Sheesh! Isn't not lying about not lying a crime in this country anymore?

#13 - Posted by: Gunga on June 13, 2006 11:45 AM

It depends on what the definition of "is" is.

New moonbat mantra: "not indicted" just depends on the definition of "not". Maybe Rove was issued a special tinfoil edition indictment?

#14 - Posted by: Keep hope Alive on June 13, 2006 12:06 PM

In the US: a massive global-warming induced hurricane ravaging Florida

In Iraq: Bush on a hunting trip to kill innocent women and children.

Nowhere to be seen: FEMA, managing the devastation

And I have polling data that indicates that my I.Q. of 51 is NORMAL!!!

Hail Satan,

Monkey Faced Liberal

#15 - Posted by: Monkey Faced Liberal on June 13, 2006 12:19 PM

Now cut that out. Whoever you are, you have an actual sense of humor. You can't fool a wingnut bush-zombie.

#16 - Posted by: Pat Rand on June 13, 2006 12:50 PM

What's all this I hear about George Bush not getting along with the Poles?

#17 - Posted by: Emily Monkey Face on June 13, 2006 12:56 PM

Master Tang, while you make extremely good points about this mfl critter, I cannot share your enthusiasm. Reading one of those inane posts is about as interesting as watching a Special Olympics event, where I am merely expecting one of the participants to eventually fall on his or her face and I have no patience for it.

The topic of the post is that Rove was NOT indicted. This topic has NOTHING to do with poll numbers, global warming, the uselessness UN or how stupid and monkey faced liberals are. Rather I believe that this indictment is not only a result of Rove's connections with the Dark Powers but also a bitch slap to a well deserving media, to which I say, neener, neener, neener followed by an enthusiastic thumb to nose gesture.

"In the US: a massive global-warming induced hurricane ravaging Florida." A tropical storm caused by all the hot air blowing out of Cannes. This weather phenomenon is known as El Ninny.

"In Iraq: Bush on a hunting trip to kill innocent women and children." Silly goose, the Marines have already killed all the women and children.

"Nowhere to be seen: FEMA, managing the devastation." Stuck on stupid people in New Orleans, "Waiter there is a turd in my gumbo"!

"And I have polling data that indicates that my I.Q. of 51 is NORMAL!!!" Poll conducted among the Democrat National Committee.

#19 - Posted by: captamerica on June 13, 2006 03:09 PM

I don't know. If the DNC conducted the poll, an IQ of 51 would more likely be considered super-genius level.

(Won't anyone think of the patio furniture????)
