Party of Fear
Posted by Frank J. at 08:39 AM | View blog reactions | Comments (22)

Greg Gutfeld has a long list of all the fears the Democrats have.

Sample:

"Fear of a police state unless of course it actually is a police state, like, Venezuela."

and

"Fear of a Marine knocking on your Prius's window to discuss your bumperstickers."

Worth a read.

WOW, how did that guy get this posted?? and how long before it gets taken down, he's already been viciously and repeatedly abused in the first 10 comments.

Fear that with your tirades against SUVs, Wal-Mart, meat, cigarettes, guns, whisky, and organized religion, you are the judgmental, intolerant one.

Couldn't have said it better myself!

Frank, I think you have some competition now!

The post is interesting and witty, but the real jewels are in the comments section. What kind of logic and reason is at work over there? Children cannot engage in logical debate; their minds are made up beforehand and they are reduced to name-calling and whining rather than cogent arguments.

Wow, something on Puffington that's funny on purpose! Is that a first?

#4 - Posted by: Gunga on August 8, 2006 09:44 AM

Dude!

I totally Heart GG! I'm going to have to print this before it gets deleted off Huff'n'Puffpo.

#5 - Posted by: LokiDoki on August 8, 2006 09:56 AM

Gutfeld has been the only worthwhile HuffPo poster for a while, but he now has his own blog. Didn't think he was still posting there.

#6 - Posted by: Frank J. on August 8, 2006 09:59 AM

I think they fear he is right!

#7 - Posted by: captamerica on August 8, 2006 10:07 AM

Greg is definitely on a roll today. I'd say that the majority of his comments apply to many of the people with whom I work every day.

#8 - Posted by: Silicon Valley Jim on August 8, 2006 10:12 AM

If there were more people like us, we wouldn't have that pesky "free" press, that stupid "freedom" of religion that allows non-Christians to do as they please, etc etc etc. Ya know, the Taliban really had it right, didn't they? Vote Republican/Libertarian, let's turn this country around!!!

#9 - Posted by: on August 8, 2006 10:43 AM

I'm very surprised you included "Libertarian" in that...you DO know that most of the Libertarian party leadership is anti-war and anti-Bush, right?
What am I saying, of course you do...

#10 - Posted by: bgrx on August 8, 2006 11:09 AM

Sorry, forgot to put my name in that last post.

#11 - Posted by: Waste Of Skin on August 8, 2006 11:09 AM

I don't know why I bothered to read the comments over there - it's always the same.

However, the post was great. Yay to Greg Gutfeld!

#12 - Posted by: kya on August 8, 2006 11:14 AM

That was some grade A smackdown form Gutfeld. The comments confirm just about everything he wrote. Not one whit of humor, tolerance, compassion or understanding was to be found in any of the comments from the unhinged lefties who inhabit the HuffPo.

Have an evil day.

#13 - Posted by: DrEvil on August 8, 2006 12:12 PM

He left out the biggest: the fear of being superfluous.

#14 - Posted by: Writer on August 8, 2006 01:24 PM

I'm not superfluous! I need to lose a little weight, that's all.

#15 - Posted by: Sen. Edward Kennedy (D - Aisle with the Scotch in It) on August 8, 2006 01:35 PM

"Fear that people will find out what a hypocrite you are because you call for higher taxes while using tax shelters"

Aka- Pulling a "Kerry".

Someone who is very smart wrote above, "If there were more people like us, we wouldn't have that pesky "free" press,..."

By "free", do you mean "free to skew the information with liberal bias"? I think your "free" press simply means "free of moral/ethical responsibility". Or the MSM, for short.

#16 - Posted by: AlanABQ on August 8, 2006 01:56 PM

I posted the comment about "free" press, man. I'm saying, do what the bumper stickers for sale on this site say: "journalists, add rope + tree etc".

If there were more people like us, the people who read this site regularly, we could gather up enough people to totally abolish the (liberal) press as we know it. We should only get our "news" from Rush and Ann C. and friends because of the rigourous adhering to the facts that they do. Look up all the statistics and the true context of the quotes they use, and you'll see what I'm talking about.

All I'm saying, and I think we're all in agreement here, is that the Taliban actually had/has it right. If you know what I mean.

America, Fuck Yeah!

#17 - Posted by: America#1 on August 8, 2006 02:07 PM

You left out Michelle Malkin.

#18 - Posted by: AlanABQ on August 8, 2006 03:48 PM

FrankJ, thanks for finding the one decent island in the sea of funkiness that is Huff-n-Puff. Tho I still want to wash my shoes after treading over there.

Gutfeld's post is great, and the comments the kiddies left are so sad.

I loved the comment containing "fear that the Bill of Rights has already been shredded by Bush ..." Oh, dear, no more freedom to criticize the government, I had no idea. Hey, wait a minute, he was criticizing the government! No, wait, that freedom has been shredded. Um, no, wait ...

#19 - Posted by: eric90230 on August 8, 2006 03:53 PM

Good lord these pos(t)ers at Huffpo make me sick. They can't come up with anything reasoned, so the slip into ad hominem attacks. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE? Do they have a brain defect that obscures fact. When they see facts, are they blinded? When they hear fact, does it just sound like White Noise? Ugh!

#20 - Posted by: DesertElephant on August 8, 2006 08:46 PM

DE: and they are all the same on the other lib blogs that I've seen as well. Also, I've tried posting a few times on the nutcase left blogs only to be immediately booted.

Apparently, the "party of inclusion and understanding" is not so inclusive or understanding. That's one thing of the many things I like about IMAO, letting MFL and others say their piece without deleting/altering their silly comments.

#21 - Posted by: Gun Nut on August 8, 2006 09:35 PM

GN-

It's the equivalent of plugging their ears & going, "Lalalalalala! I can't hear you!" when they kick people & comments off their blogs. It's not surprising, though; the truth is upsetting to weak-minded.
