NOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooo
Posted by Frank J. at 01:22 PM | View blog reactions | Comments (27)

They didn't even call me first!

What violent, crotchety old man will be able to replace him?

This is wrong. Very wrong.

I guess I'll have to put my name down to be the next Secretary of War.

I'll come up with my plans for the military soon...

UPDATE:

His replacement looks too nice. I better get my plan out soon so Bush will know to pick me.

This sucks! if only we could have gotten the "Laser" to work he would have been the perfect Secretary of Defense.

Quick, we need a Rumsfeld Strangler in my world.

#2 - Posted by: Dr. Phat Tony on November 8, 2006 01:28 PM

Well...just remember the next SecDef will have to be.....dare I say it...CONFIRMED BY THE SENATE...what a mess!!!
What is Bush thinking???

#3 - Posted by: MitchW on November 8, 2006 01:36 PM

All is not lost. He can strangle a few democrats on his way out. Sniff sniff.....waaaahhhhh.

#4 - Posted by: jonag on November 8, 2006 01:37 PM

Trackbacks not working, Frank J.?

Though to be honest, I blogged about this before I saw your post.

#5 - Posted by: SilverBubble on November 8, 2006 01:48 PM

Rumsfeld is to be the new Secretary of Strangle-land Securi-Strangling

#6 - Posted by: spacemonkey on November 8, 2006 01:51 PM

Bush had his replacement picked prior to the elections. Maybe he also had the confirmation assured before he let Chavez manipulate the machines for a Pelosi victory. What better way to keep the White House in four years than a Democratic house under the wicked witch of the west. To bad when Dorothy dropped the house it landed on her sister instead of Pelosi.

#7 - Posted by: allthatsright on November 8, 2006 01:52 PM

I just fired off a powerful angry E-mail to the White house. I'm usually a laid-back kinda guy, but this....

....This is unforgivable....

#8 - Posted by: HKPistole on November 8, 2006 01:55 PM

I actually think this is part of a brilliant strategery. With the shackles off Rummy he is free to roam the world strangulating those who do not think correctly.

#9 - Posted by: captamerica on November 8, 2006 02:03 PM

Ha ha. Too funny. Bush finally makes a good move. Called it in this thread. Rumsfeld was totally incompetent and should have listened to Powell and numerous others who called for more troops at the beginning of the war.

P.S. Go Steele! You can still win blue dood!! Never surrender. Keep waving those blue banners, wearing blue and driving the big blue bus. You will fool all those dumb Democrats into thinking you are won of them and WIN. Ha ha! Steele's fake blue campaign and refusal to concede has become a measure of outstanding patheticness that we shall all remember forever.

#10 - Posted by: Sarcasm Man on November 8, 2006 02:09 PM

Yeah, people who don't concede right away are pathetic, unless they're Democrat in which case the reverse is true.

#11 - Posted by: spacemonkey on November 8, 2006 02:17 PM

I can't figure out why Frank wasn't elected Emperor of the World, everybody I know voted for him,FRAAAAUUUDDD!
Bob

#12 - Posted by: Bobnormal on November 8, 2006 02:25 PM

capt america wrote what i just thought (i just logged on, OK). in his "retirement" Rumsfeld won't be shackled by stringent conduct "rules" for members of the cabinet...

freelance strangling and "raaaarr-ing", call Rummy!

#13 - Posted by: aA on November 8, 2006 02:30 PM

Well, I did predict that Rummy would leave earlier today (just to be fair to me!)

I thought it would be a backdoor deal with the Dems, but this is obviously a way to ensure confirmation before an unknown senate is seated in January.

#14 - Posted by: keith on November 8, 2006 02:53 PM

If Frank gets the SecWar job, I'm applying for one Joint Chiefs of Death.

#15 - Posted by: BTret on November 8, 2006 03:01 PM

HA

HA

HA

Rot in hell, Rumsfled.

#16 - Posted by: Narb on November 8, 2006 03:12 PM

love that picture on the right....GOP likely to keep Senate control...HAHAHA

#17 - Posted by: Narb on November 8, 2006 03:16 PM

Hey Narb, your boyfriend is done with Barney Frank and wants to offer you some "stiff backing"...

#18 - Posted by: ussjimmycarter on November 8, 2006 03:20 PM

Well, at least now the Rumsfeld Strangler will be free to rid us of Sarcasm Bitch and Narb.

#19 - Posted by: Master Shake on November 8, 2006 03:25 PM

actually, im more into young pages, but I'll have to wait till the Republican team is done with their gangbang.

Rumsfeld should resign from life too.

#20 - Posted by: Narb on November 8, 2006 03:28 PM

Ladies and gentlemen,

Behold our opposition.

#21 - Posted by: Techie on November 8, 2006 03:42 PM

He He, yeah.. that's so cute...

#22 - Posted by: HKPistole on November 8, 2006 04:04 PM

Yeah, he looks nice, but he knows 17 ways to kill ya' with a Post-it note.

Go CIA WO-O-O-OH!!!

Rummy slimmed down DOD, maybe the next guy will make some of the entrenched old-school heads roll.

#23 - Posted by: hard.time on November 8, 2006 04:11 PM

FJ - After six years you get a couple of sparse lines and this guy gets wikified to the max 23 minutes after he's nominated? Yeah...that's about right.

To the twaddling nutballs disparaging Rummy (above...and perhaps below) - He'll always be a better man than you, you snivelling titweasels. ...and one more thing...get a job and a haircut, not necessarily in that order...a bath wouldn't be a bad idea either.

#24 - Posted by: Gunga on November 8, 2006 04:23 PM

Gates is a former spy who looks like your average nice guy. Clearly he's secretly a cannibal.

#25 - Posted by: Nephi on November 8, 2006 05:56 PM

hard.time: Go CIA????

You mean the same people who couldn't see big commercial airliners were hitting even bigger buildings until they saw it on CNN.

WOOO- HOOO!

#26 - Posted by: Narb on November 9, 2006 04:54 AM

I volunteer my old man for the job as replacement.
What we need in there is a lifelong Republican and retired Master Chief with experience in three wars and Covert Ops.
He would straighten out Congress in short order...
