He's not dead Frank. He feels happy. He just resigned even though Bush basically had a read my lips moment last week saying Rumsfeld would stay until the end of his presidency. But Bush's habit of lying all the time was already well known to all. He once told me I was smart. He says Cheney will still stay but how can anyone take Bush at his word on anything? You simply can't. Bush says one thing then does another the very next week. And then he rests on the third week. The BBC has a wondrous article that explains some of Rumsfeld's extremely numerous mistakes like his arrogance, his lack of patience, his lying about WMDs and his lack of planning for an insurgency.
