Q: Why is Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei wrong about the 2006 Midterm Elections being a victory for Iran?

By the way, before you start panicking about a CAIR-endorsed Nation Of Islam Muslim entering Congress, let's not be too hasty, okay? Let's think about this for a moment...

First off, it's not like he's suddenly going to go out sticking pods on anyone and converting them en masse. The guy's only one guy, and despite a disturbingly large number of closet "Ewwww... a Jew!" types under the Capitol Dome (ie Jim Moran), it's not like he's going to convince them all to unmask and start dancing around the fire going OOGIE BOOGIE under the full moon!

Plus, Congress tends to police its own, or at least back hastily away from anyone that doesn't just sip the Moonbat Juice but bathes in it. For instance, even though Cynthia McKinney was a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, in the end they're probably breathing a huge sigh of relief that they won't be seeing Frightwig around the halls anymore. In fact, the past two years of refusing to wear her Congressional security pins have been excellent practice for her learning not to wear them on a permanent basis. (We'll see if William "cold Hard Cash" Jefferson gets the same treatment when the subpoenas start flying)

Unless someone in party leadership does something horrifyingly stupid and lets them gum up a committee ("No, Lincoln, don't leave us... quit biting my hand... you can stay on Foreign Relations... quit biting my hand... no, really... please don't go... here's some campaign money... quit biting my hand... ") or leaves them in a corner with matches, one person a crisis does not make.

But let's not immediately brand this guy a lunatic despite his track record as a footsoldier of Louis Farrakhan, legion of lunatic supporters (ie Howard Dean), or campaign contributors. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt and wait and see.

So in 219 years, that's one Muslim claiming to be a moderate in Congress. That means in order to take over all 535 seats in Congress (not counting meaningless observer seats for DC, Guam, Puerto Rico, and other bottomless pits we sink tax dollars into), at this rate there will be an all-Islamic Congress by year... let's see... 117,165 plus 1787 ... 118,952.

On the other hand, at the rate that Jews are taking over seats in Congress, there should be an all-Jewish Congress by... let's try this again... the middle of next week.

Relax. Everything will be just fine. Beside, in 5,700 years, we've gotten a lot more efficient with how we harvest Christian blood for making our Passover matzoh. Barely need more than a drop now.

But if you insist on worrying about us now, well, go right on ahead. Just don't come crying in 118,953 about losing more than just a drop of blood come harvest time.
