For the Record
There's a lot of talk about Senator Obama running for President in 2008, but we all know that's just talk. Obama will never make it through the Democratic primary because, deep down, Democrats hate black people. Sure, they want black people's vote each election, but they don't want to actual take orders from them. Kos and friends have written numerous posts on the problem of uppity Negroes, and I think it's time that everyone face reality and realize that society hasn't advanced enough that a black man could actually be elected President by Democrats. In 2008, their nominee is once again going to be a white male... or someone similar such as Hillary Clinton. Suggesting anyone else is just idle chit chat. He'll probably be the nominee for vice president, though. 27 Responses To "For the Record"
I agree that democrats can't tolerate an uppity negro for President! Can you really see him as VP for "Herself"? I picture a large very unattractive lesbian for some reason... #1 - Posted by: ussjimmycarter on December 6, 2006 11:33 AMBeing black is a minor problem compared to the fact that he smokes cigarettes. #2 - Posted by: G. Hamid on December 6, 2006 11:38 AMThe DNC: "We're not like those racist Republicans; we just didn't like having Jew Lieberman around anymore, that's all." Kos Kidz: "We're nothing like those racist, soap-using rethugs; we like nigg...uh, we mean negr...uhh, Africans. So long as they don't get all high & mighty about their triumph over adversity. Or vote rethuglican." #3 - Posted by: AlanABQ on December 6, 2006 12:45 PMGH - But he doesn't inhale... #4 - Posted by: Gunga on December 6, 2006 12:49 PMI'm thinking they might just forget having a nominee in 2008, and just say "We get it, we can't win, it's all yours, guys." I mean really, they have not a single electable Democrat out there while we've got the pick of the litter. #5 - Posted by: Shoelimpy™ on December 6, 2006 01:29 PMJust yesterday, pinko hippie Bob Brozman had a concert over here. Wicked guitarist, but of course he just *had* to throw politics in it, and here's how he defined Condoleeza Rice: a white man dressed in a zip-up black woman dress. Racism's their real face, man. That's just their real face. #6 - Posted by: Francesco Poli on December 6, 2006 01:43 PMThat's similar to 50cent's description of Oprah being an "Oreo". Black on the outside, white in the middle. He must be a member of the Democrat party too. He & Bozman could start a tour together & call it the Speak Now, Think Later tour. #7 - Posted by: AlanABQ on December 6, 2006 02:22 PMHillary and Obama in '08, huh? What could be better to guarantee and Republican landslide in '08? #8 - Posted by: KeithP on December 6, 2006 03:01 PMBrozman said that? That's depressing. I have a bunch of his CDs and I REALLY don't want to have to throw them away. Great music. But if you think about it objectively, his remark is pretty clever, for a lib. Certainly more clever than the Dixie Cups, and 20 times the musician. #9 - Posted by: IllTemperedCur on December 6, 2006 03:24 PMIllTemperedCur, throwing away the CDs won't do any good because you already bought them. Buying more CDs, however, is now verboten. #10 - Posted by: SilverBubble on December 6, 2006 03:39 PMTrue, but it would feel GOOOOOOD. Then at least this musical story would have a happy ending. I'm a big fan of happy endings... #11 - Posted by: IllTemperedCur on December 6, 2006 04:11 PMRemember, folks: It's only racism when white people do it! #12 - Posted by: ZK on December 6, 2006 04:15 PMI mean really, they have not a single electable Democrat out there while we've got the pick of the litter. I don't think so. The front-runners at this point for the Republican nomination are John McCain, who is already seventy years old and has had two bouts with malignant lymphoma, and Rudy Giuliani, who has had prostate cancer. As soon as either one of them gets the nomination, the MSM will suddenly "discover" these things, and there will be lots of stories about cancer and, if it's McCain, his age (for comparison, Ronald Reagan, whose age was an issue in the 1980 Presidential election, was 69 at the time; McCain will be nearly as old in 2008 as Reagan was when he ran for his second term). Both Hillary and Obama have national name recognition, and both have the MSM on their side. We discount the Democrats' chances at our peril. #13 - Posted by: Silicon Valley Jim on December 6, 2006 04:20 PMI want Michael Steele on the ticket (preferably as VEEP) in 2008 and at the top of the ticket in either 2012 (if, God forbid, the Dems win in 08) or 2016! #14 - Posted by: keith on December 6, 2006 04:56 PMMcCain is a RINO. I used to be really big on boycotts and throwing stuff out and all that, for politics and other reasons...not that I would think it would make a difference, just to feel better personally. Then I saw Toby Keith in an ad for this vote to end poverty in Africa thing, and he's certainly not a liberal. I don't listen to country so that doesn't matter, but the thing is now I just don't know what to think, so I'm just going to buy what I feel like if the creators don't piss me off to much. #17 - Posted by: bgrx on December 6, 2006 06:21 PMThinking about it, though, Obama's name is close enough to Osama that many Democrats will get confused and vote for him anyway, even if he is black. #18 - Posted by: Shoelimpy™ on December 6, 2006 06:40 PMWhat are you talking about? My husband was the first black president! #19 - Posted by: Hillery Clinton on December 6, 2006 08:00 PMWhat? One of "them" running our party? Where's my noose!?!? #20 - Posted by: Robert "Imperial Wizard" Byrd on December 6, 2006 08:05 PMWhat about Ron Paul? Even as a libertarian in Republican clothing, he's a hell of a lot more conservative than McCain (or Rudy, for that matter). He's way anti-gun control, and writes about hating the UN, what more do you guys want? He's also a white male, if it helps. #21 - Posted by: gudis on December 6, 2006 08:07 PMObama is a junior senator. He has the name recognition, barely...but nothing else. As far as I know, he hasn't DONE anything in Congress, but then, neither had the poodle, so, um...never mind... I don't think the Hildabeast or the "good ole boy" network will allow Obama to run. #22 - Posted by: on December 6, 2006 10:45 PMOops. that was mine. forgot to add my name. my bad. #23 - Posted by: SkyeChild on December 6, 2006 10:46 PMIf you bothered to check you facts you would discover it is a well known fact that Hillary has a penis. #24 - Posted by: captamerica on December 7, 2006 07:10 AM//so I'm just going to buy what I feel like if the creators don't piss me off to much.// Or you can illegally download it off the internet, or borrow it from the library and copy the CD to your hard drive and then make your own CD. If it's a liberal artist you like, you try to find a way to cheat them out of their cut, like copying and pasting Bob Ross paintings off the internet. Sorry, what was the topic again? I like the ticket.... Condie Rice for 2008 Our pair will beat their fool house any day. #26 - Posted by: seanmahair on December 7, 2006 10:12 AMI think Colin Powell ought to run. #27 - Posted by: AlanABQ on December 7, 2006 12:29 PMPost a comment
