The real problem is that Bush has no balls. If he did he would have taken out Sadr when he had the chance and when it would have caused many less American lives. Now he may try and take out Sadr when it is going to place a very heavy burden on our troops. But even if Bush does now kill Sadr and his now tens of thousands of crazy supporters its too late because the country is too fracked up. The Iraqi forces have been infiltrated by both Sunni and Shiite militias -- we have no control over Iraq except the green zone. It is over. Time to save the guys and girls we have left and come home. Bush is a coward and was unable to do the job when it mattered. The stupid coward was not bold enough to take out Sadr when he could have. The majority of Americans realize Bush sucks but you stupid losers still sing his praises. You continue to praise ignorance and a lack of balls and will. Now you want to our troops to die simply to prove you were right even though you know deepd own the country has gone to hell and cannot be saved. That's a sick and disgusting thing you are doing. Also none of you even care that Osama was never captured as long as Bush tells you not to care. Enjoy your gradual trip into irrelevance. All Speculation on the size of GW’s balls aside.

The Democratic plan seems to center around both strategic retreat and an ideological retreat from the world. Fighting in Afghanistan and tracking OBL seem like defensible policy. After all, OBL actually directed attacks on us from his hideout on the Afghan Pakistan boarder. So that’s what we are looking for now, “A defensible policy position”. The Islamist movement that is spread out across Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. This is a movement whose sworn goal is the destruction of western society in general and the United States in particular. Let’s ignore all that, and confine ourselves to some small corner of the conflict chasing after one mans ghost. Let’s pretend the Islamist will confine themselves to our little managed war.

Of course this has no chance of working. I’ll give you a little hint. The situation on the Pakistan Afghanistan boarder is deteriorating terribly. It is much worse than in Iraq. Pakistan is gradually falling apart and can’t take a raging war centered on it’s boarder. When Iraq falls the fight will shift to Pakistan in earnest. It already is! We will be sitting up in the Afghanistan mountains with our thumbs up our ass as Islamist from the whole world converge on the next big fight in Pakistan. Right now we are tied down in Iraq and our enemy is also tied down in same place. Not great but survivable. They have staked just as much on the fight in Iraq as we have. When they win, it will come as a flood. I haven’t even mentioned the further destabilization of the areas neighboring Iraq such as the Persian Gulf, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Israel.

So what do the Democrats do when the Islamists don’t play it our way and confine themselves to a nice little war in Afghanistan. Do the Democrats continue to ignore the fact that the Islamist movement pervades the entire Muslim world. It isn’t confined to Afghanistan. Do the Democrats try to sooth the radicals by giving them understanding and apologizing for interfering in their affairs. The Islamists don’t give damn about being included in the lefts endless list of victims of Yankee imperialism. Apology taken, now bow to Allah and prepare for death.

Further retreat is the only answer no mater how terrible the results. The Democrats won’t stand in Afghanistan more than two years before it is also declared a failure. Onward to our defeat and withdrawal from the world stage. We can all be noble victims now. The left always wanted a diminished country that minds its business. They now have people determined to put them there. Careful about going there willingly, I doubt if diminishment brings a better life in the suburbs or that nice job you wanted. It won’t bring you an ounce of peace or equality either. Unless you are dead.

I served 22 years in the Marines to preserve the rights and freedoms that make us all Americans. One hundred and forty five years ago it was north and south, now its left and right. Where else in the world are these rights and freedoms, also to be found?

I say this, when you talk down my country, my way of life, and my president (regardless if he plays hide the cigar with female interns or just has a speaking problem) you put good Americans in harms's way by giving the enemy aid and comfort.

We who served and who serve now don't tell you how to score the best dope, or how best to pump the neighbor's cat do we? Don't say you support the troops while verbally attacking the U.S. or its leaders. Unless you are willing to put your butt on the line, STFU.
