Where have I been?
Some of you may have noticed that besides the Mahmoud Prays and Friday Catblogging and the shameless plugging of my Pickle Tales storytelling competition (I'm in the finals next week!), I've been kind of absent from here. However, I'd like to take a moment to explain... We all know that Frank wants to nuke the Moon, right? Well, before he nukes the moon, we need to run a simulation of the whole moon-nuking thing. Since simulators are horribly expensive to purchase, difficult to run, a bear to maintain, and impossible break into when nobody's looking, we've settled on this Second Life thing as a reasonable alternative. Not only does it have a Physics engine in there running in the background, but dollar sconvert to Lindens at a decidedly advantageous rate to the real people moving into Second Life. Man, do I feel sorry for all those fake people trying to convert their Lindens into real dollars when they come out here into the First Life. And let's see they try to do those dance moves they do in there... or get around by flying and teleporting. But anyway, I was picked at the Official IMAO Second Life Nuke The Moon Project guinea pig ("Make that lazy good-for-nothing Jew do it!" I think was what FrankJ said between episodes of 24 on DVD) , so I've jumped in and started the process of researching what exactly would happen if the moon were nuked. Here I am, a tuxedo-wearing midget, standing with a guitar for absolutely no reason whatsoever: "I punish the donkey." In the coming weeks, I'll be working on setting up a test area to:
Of course, in the meantime, I'm still trying to learn the basic physics of the land... "I have not eaten in three days. Call my embassy." Whoops. Thought the sign said parking on the roof. My bad. 4 Responses To "Where have I been?"
Good luck with trying to destroy the moon, but I think the population of Second Laugh will be extinct long before you manage that feat. :-) #1 - Posted by: Francesco Poli on January 30, 2007 01:37 PMWow Lair, thats a mighty big "guitar" you're sportin'.Oops that is a guitar, thought it was one of those wierd Jewish thingies. Nevermind. #2 - Posted by: DohXs on January 30, 2007 07:54 PMFeh, you want a *good* simulation with physics, you go to There.com. #3 - Posted by: Mythilt on January 30, 2007 10:24 PM"Demography is destiny", someone once said. And we are now at a unique moment in history, when a bunch of friggin' dweebs, who have next to no chance of reproducing, are (ever so briefly) on the top of society's ladder, while an angry underclass are belting their fourth or fifth kid in frustration... #4 - Posted by: bunkerboy on January 31, 2007 04:53 AMPost a comment
