Vote in the IMAO Precinct
Pajamas Media will be running a presidential straw poll up until the primary elections, and you get to vote once a week based on your own fickle biases. PJM will also keep track of precincts, with each blog being a precinct. So, this is the IMAO precinct, the most happening precinct around. So, vote!
I'll be interested to hear who you vote for and why, especially on the Democratic side. Also, if you vote for Hagel on the Republican side, I'll harm you and maybe your family too. As for me, I vote for whoever has the nicest hair... just like most of the public! Sorry, Guiliani, but I don't think America is ready for a balding president. 16 Responses To "Vote in the IMAO Precinct"
On the Dem side I voted for “Vasectomy” whatever his first name is…former Governor of Iowa. He’s a dufus but he’s not “herself” and I really don’t like uppity negroes…even clean ones so I’m limited… On the Republicans side it Newt all the way…I’m holding out for a Newt/Bolton ticket…sigh…but it won’t happen! #1 - Posted by: ussjimmycarter on February 5, 2007 04:46 PMI vote we nuke the whole lot of them & start over. #2 - Posted by: AlanABQ on February 5, 2007 05:59 PMMan, The democrates have way more choices then we do. It's not fair. What ever happened to the good guys? #3 - Posted by: AlaskaNick on February 5, 2007 06:16 PMBy more choices I mean more people that they agree with. I don't like any of our choices. #4 - Posted by: AlaskaNick on February 5, 2007 06:20 PMI'm illegal. Can I vote anyway? #5 - Posted by: RightWingDuck on February 5, 2007 07:27 PMI can't tell you how happy it made me to finally see Fred Thompson's name in one of these things!! Dang....Now I can't get the thing to reopen so I can check results for IMAO readers. What are you trying to hide? #7 - Posted by: TBinSTL on February 5, 2007 08:45 PMFor the Dems, I voted for Smeagol. I want his numbers to get REALLY high so that the nutroots all support him. For Republicans, a governor with real conservative chops, not compassionate conservative, but eat babies conservative. Jim Gilmore. #8 - Posted by: keith on February 5, 2007 08:56 PMRightWingDuck, Not only can you vote, be sure to vote early and often! I wouldn't vote for any of those democrats if they were the only ones running. This time, I voted for Newt. Next week, I'll probably vote for Rudy. #9 - Posted by: SkyeChild on February 5, 2007 09:25 PMFor the Dems, I voted for Edwards, mostly 'cause I think he has the best chance of winning their primary. For the GOP, I voted for Brownback. It's a close tossup between him and Paul for me, since I love everythng about both of them except their foolish tendency towards isolationism, but at least Brownback has slightly less of that.
You've hit upon a sad fact: to many voters, it really is just a beauty contest. We haven't had a chrome-domed candidate since Eisenhower; however, with more and more guys losing their hair by twenty-five and shaving the rest, that might change. More worrisome for Giuliani is his wife's lazy eye. I don't know if America is ready for a cock-eyed First Lady... #11 - Posted by: bunkerboy on February 6, 2007 01:05 AMGiuliani is a disaster and frankly, I would rather have a democrat who ADMITS he's a democrat in the White House rather than one pretending to be a Republican when he runs. If Giuliani is elected, say goodbye to your guns and your money and hello to Mr. & Mr. Smith-Jones living next door. (We can only hope they're both human males.) #12 - Posted by: keith on February 6, 2007 07:09 AMI voted for Algore on the Dem side, mostly because he's funny and I feel sorry for him. On my side I voted for Mr. Newt, the purest conservative of the bunch. I don't think he stands a chance in hell, but I'd love to see him as president. #13 - Posted by: fmragtops on February 6, 2007 12:22 PMvoted vilsack for dem, just cause it would be funny to hear all the bobbleheads in the msn fall all over themselves trying _not_ to misprounounce it... on the right side, i voted fred thompson, because he's the best actor of the bunch... (newt would be my second choice) #14 - Posted by: shane on February 6, 2007 12:30 PMTo do away with guns, Giuliani would have to repeal the second amendment, and there's enough democrats (read: not always libs) in certain parts of the country who aren't giving up their guns for ANYBODY. In So. Ill., where my parents live, the "good old boys" are conservative democrats: pro-gun, pro-life, and they love their women! #15 - Posted by: on February 6, 2007 01:32 PMI voted for Dodd just to see him explain what a waitress sandwich is. On the right Thompson - The last actor we had for president didn't turn out too bad. #16 - Posted by: Moneyman on February 6, 2007 02:15 PMPost a comment
