Such "Feminism" Is an Insult to Man and Woman
Posted by Frank J. at 01:28 PM | View blog reactions | Comments (30)

Not to beat a dead horse here, but it's been so long since I encountered one of these weak-willed, hysterical women who bill themselves as "feminists" like Amanda Marcotte. She made a fool of herself and John Edwards, and now she has some rants up playing herself the stereotypical victim to all those stronger, mean men out there. It's disgusting, really. A woman with self-esteem would admit her mistake and take the consequences... not try and dodge them by hiding behind rantings about a "patriarchy." I know many strong women in my life, and these "feminists" do nothing more than make a virtue out of weakness. Women have gained too much over too long a period to have to suffer the likes of such fools.

Sadly, you have forgotten the Cardinal Rule for the Left:

Nothing is ever their fault.

It must always be caused by an outside force beyond their ability to overcome.

Women have gained too much over too long a period to have to suffer the likes of such fools.

They've gained but it is still far from equal. It's getting better but still just 16 women in the Senate. Women deserve equal pay as well and they certainly don't have that in the male dominated workplace. But hey maybe soon to be 50 in the Senate? Wouldn't that be great?! I know all the non-sexist IMAO readers are super excited about getting to 50 and kicking some of those obnoxious man fools that drink heavily from the money hoses of giant multinational corporations out of the Senate! There are also more and more single women these days and they will be competing with men for jobs and causing some men to not be able to earn as much as they get beat by women for the better positions. Things are getting better and more fair and that's fantastic.

"But hey maybe soon to be 50 in the Senate? Wouldn't that be great?!"

Sarcasmo,

I coudln't think of anything less productive than a bunch of women, half of whom are cycling together, the other half post menopausal; ganging up on the poor men in the chamber, sighing every time one of the male Senators messes with the doilies on the bench, smudges the polished gavel, or leaves papers scattered all over the place; and for leering at the young pages who scurry around.

Yeah, sounds great.

#7 - Posted by: PaleoMedic on February 13, 2007 03:37 PM

I think women are great...as long as they cook me dinner, do the dishes, clean up after me and leave me along...don't tell my wife...

#8 - Posted by: ussjimmycarter on February 13, 2007 04:31 PM

Awesome Frank! I adore strong women. They have the courage to know their failures and their strengths, and never blame either on anything but their own actions and will. Meerkat isn't about equal rights, she's about special dispensation. She wants to have everything handed to her, never be criticized and always be agreed with.

That's not Feminism, it's retardation.

#9 - Posted by: DesertElephant on February 13, 2007 04:45 PM

USSJC - you left out "do my laundry". Tell my wife; she knows her place.

"They've gained but it is still far from equal. ...Women deserve equal pay as well and they certainly don't have that in the male dominated workplace."

Bah!

Statisical garbage.
Let's look at just one of the unmentioned varables:

Many women to this day choose to stay home and raise their children. Perhaps full-time or perhaps they get a part-time job. Other's work full-time, but choose a job with flexible hours so that they can better care for their children. The primary concern of these women is their children. So instead of sqeezing every last penny they can out of their boss (like they and anyone would probaby otherwise do when motivated by career goals and not raising a family) they instead SETTLE for a flexible work schedule. In these families the husband is the main bread winner (nothing wrong with that) and may need to move for work or to get a promotion. The wife, whos primary concern is her children. Quits her job and gets a new one wherever it is they moved to.

So as you can see, her lack of pay has nothing to do with gender, but rather lifestyle preference. The scenarios laid out above do not occur anywhere near as often with the gender roles reversed, therefore, since these people are all rolled into the statistical analysis, you do end up with women getting paid less, but again this is not due to gender bias, but rather is caused by family priorities.

FACE!

dear sarcasm "man",

You don't date women in real life, do you? I mean I'm sure on line you'll be Gabrielle to your dominitrix, XENA, but in real life I promise you, most women would give their eyeteeth to stay home. As a woman I would much rather do laundry, vaccumming, cooking and child rearing than sitting at this desk, telling people their past due on their accounts, but because of the bored power wives and man-haters like dumbass Amanda, the leftard blue state I can't afford to move out of raises taxes so f-king high, my family couldn't live on one income. Thanks to the gorram whiners of NOW, you got want you wanted and ruined everything for the regular women. JERK-OFFS!!

#12 - Posted by: shimuama on February 13, 2007 06:09 PM

Sarcasm man(?),

Oh, yes...we're so enamored with the likes of Yancy Pelosi, Bahhhhhbra Boxer, Dianne Frankenstein and Hitlery Clintonista that we just can't wait for their kind to increase by a tenfold. Now tell me, just what's the differance between these aformentioned, power hungry, dizzy withches and any male vacume of corperate kickbacks?
Now, on the other hand, if we had more of the likes of SarahK, Shimuama, Bikermommy and several other of our right-minded IMAO regular gals in office, I'd have to totally agree.

Sarcasm boy spews:"Women deserve equal pay as well and they certainly don't have that in the male dominated workplace."

Sarcasm man I invite you to address any group of female chemical engineers and demand that they get equal pay to their male colleagues. If you survive, you will forever understand that they are not about to take a pay cut in the name of equality.

I left a nice farewell to her on her site-

//“Pressure. It changes everything. Pressure. Some people, you squeeze them,
they focus. Others fold.” -quote from ‘The Devil’s Advocate’, 1997

I knew you were gonna fold, Amanda. You’re all rage & trash-talk, but when it came down to either writing with just a little class or ranting like the bug-infested itchy snatch that you truly are, you chose the latter. It was a doomed endeavour from the start; you had way too much “pride” to actually curtail the hate speech that made you noteworthy to the liberal mismanagement in the first place. Congratulations to you, though, for exposing Edwards & his ilk as a facism of flip-flopping fucktards (alliteration- ain’t it great?) who didn’t have the foresight to see just what a noisy yet ineffectual liability you would be to ANY movement.

On the plus side, you are commited to not being saddled with a baby, and I totally support your decision not to breed. Thank you so much for that.//

Do you think she'll like it?

#20 - Posted by: AlanABQ on February 13, 2007 11:01 PM

You know, I haven't seen yet the most ironic part of this whole thing pointed out. Edwards is supposedly Methodist. Yet he selects as his voice on the net someone who thinks Catholics and indeed most if not all Christians are lower than the Taliban.

If you think about it, it would be like if Louis Farrakhan ran for Pres and hired Ted Haggard to be his PR consultant. Or for that matter, if Diane Feinstein hired Farrakhan to write her campaign speeches. Of course while the hilarity ensues, maybe good ol' John can hire the guy who opened the Hitler's Cross eatery as his personal chef eh?

Alan ABQ,

Niiiiiice.
I was just over on her site and didn't see your post...maybe she deleted it.

She REALLY doesn't like it when people imply (or just flat out state) she has a big EGO. I'll check again.

Awww, that's so sweet, but I don't think my Benevolent Overlord Kal El is willing to give up his spanking rights...thanks for the sentiment anyway.

What Amanda doesn't realize is that it takes a REAL woman to allow the man of the house the stress relief of a giving out good spanking...several times a day if she's lucky.

TJ-

I posted under a different tag (Australopithecine liberal) over there on her "announcement" rant. It's still there, surprisingly enough, and I left a couple of other comments as well.

Rouguewarrior-

Post that on her site. You'll get a kick outta the responses to it.

Women deserve equal pay as well and they certainly don't have that in the male dominated workplace.

And I know just who to blame for it, too. *points to you* You see, the workplace isn't male-dominated, but female-dominated. What no "feminist" or "sensitive 90s guys" such as Sarcasm Man is willing to admit is that issues of pay or chances of being hired is because males are, 9 times out of 10, better-qualified. Blaming everything but their own stupid mistakes is, more often than not in this particular case, a coping mechanism and excuse for being passed over, when in fact it is the fault of feminists for pushing women into roles that many of them are not suited for. This is hardly to say that no women can be doctors, CEOs, astronauts, and so on: just look at Condoleezza Rice, Estée Lauder, Sally Ride...the list goes on. But the problem here is that just as not every man can be a doctor, neither can every woman. Trying to artificially "balance out" the field just because it happens to have a larger male population ensures that more women will not succeed.

The failures that feminists generate are in turn blamed on "sexism" that largely only exists in the heads of the feminists buying in to conspiracy theories. Certainly, there's really very little you can do about true chauvinists, (such as Sarcasm Man, who seems to think he needs to "help" us. I can't even begin to tell you how insulting I find that as a woman. I can succeed on my own, with no help from a useless moral busybody such as yourself) but feminists all but hand them these opportunities to ridicule them on a silver platter. They have pushed women too hard to get into fields that they are neither particularly suited for nor even interested in, not realising that there simply may not be as many women who can work those jobs as they think or who even want to. It's not evidence of a grand, sweeping, institutionalised sexism...especially since it is largely discouraged in all but a select few fields.

For example, say we have a young woman who wants to become a nurse. She wants to directly interact with and provide care to patients. Since doctors are mostly administrators in hospitals and don't provide much in the way of personal care to patients, our girl just isn't interested in becoming a doctor. Yet, the religious feminist will push her to become a doctor simply because there are more men in the field than women. They don't seem to care about quality or even the desires of the individual woman: they want warm female bodies to fulfil a certain quota. It's a collectivist, sheep-like mentality, which likely explains why so many feminists are Leftists: there is no room for the individual.

Affirmative action has only made this exponentially worse, where qualified men are often passed over for a job or a promotion in favour of a woman who will fail because she simply isn't qualified enough. But what feminists fail to realise is that businesses cannot afford to indulge in sexism when there's a bottom line to be met. Businesses look at education, qualifications, and a number of personal characteristics when they hire and promote. Everything CEOs and other business heads do is either for the good of the company or for profit, and if a woman is better-suited for that aim over male applicants, they are going to choose the woman.

Unfortunately, because feminists artificially pushed unqualified/unmotivated women into these jobs, it saturated the job market so that fewer women are worthy of holding those jobs. There are simply far more qualified and motivated men in the job market, because they chose their career for themselves. And because so many of these women are being passed over, to the feminist, it seems as if every woman who applies for the job is getting turned down.

Affirmative action and artificially saturating the market with unqualified women only serves to foster resentment among men who are better-qualified and uncertainty among the women promoted in this climate. The feminists' "sexism" bogeyman has caused them to set themselves up for failure.
