Realization
Posted by Frank J. at 06:45 PM | View blog reactions | Comments (29)

The Democrats who are too impotent and cowardly to do something substantive like stopping funding of the war so instead they settled on attacking the troops morale by passing a non-binding resolution in the House (well, two whole Democrats voted against it, while seventeen Republicans voted for it). They basically told the troops, "Nah! Nah! You're risking your lives and getting shot at for nothing! Nah! Nah!"

This is what I pay taxes for?

Now I've realized a truth: I hate the Democrats. I know Jesus says I shouldn't hate people, like I should love the Democrats but hate their Democratting - ya know, the pissant, cowardly, borderline treasonous stuff they do. But right now I hate them.

Eh... maybe I'll feel better tomorrow...

UPDATE:

I agree with Captain Ed; those who voted for this resolution aren't traitors... they're just functionally the same as traitors but without the intent.

I remember a poster I saw once that said "Jesus was a homeless person", under which someone wrote in magic marker "Christ never pissed in my hallway".

You're never gonna live up to JC's example, so just embrace the hate.

I hear ya loud and clear. Think of what we pay just one of those people per day, multiply that by the number of days (14 or more) that they've been wasting their time one this, add to that the benefits, junkets, etc. and you'd think they'd really have something better to do.

#2 - Posted by: katablog.com on February 16, 2007 07:31 PM

Hate is a strong word, but remember strength is good.

The reason the democrats won't support the military is because the Department of Defense refused to give Pelosi free use of any Air Force jet whenever she wanted. You know, to fly around her military hating constituancy from her home distract of San Fran.

Rumor has it that Teddy Kennedy was requesting that the US Navy assign a dive-salvage team to chaparone his dates.

#3 - Posted by: Gun Toting Whacko on February 16, 2007 07:31 PM

I don't hold it against you. It's just so damn infuriating every time they do something to undermine this nation & the cause for true democracy, something that the Democrat party ironically knows little about. And it's not necessarily all Democrats, but the liberal haters behind them.

I recommend a SiG 556 to vent your frustration.

#4 - Posted by: AlanABQ on February 16, 2007 07:42 PM

This is what I taxes for?

Well, apparently your parents didn't pay enough taxes to get you a decent education. Your sentence is missing something.

#5 - Posted by: keith on February 16, 2007 07:59 PM

They don't support the troops, they don't support the troops, they don't support the troops. Does anybody believe those liars that they support the troops. What would they be doing different if they didn't support the troops. I hate congress. When terrorists hit that place in a few years I hope the Democrats finally figure that their idiotic policies caused it. Oh wait they haven't accepted blame for any of their stupid policies, ever.

I love the blog that you have. I was wondering if you would link my blog to yours and in return I would do the same for your blog. If you want to, my site name is American Legends and the URL is:

http://www.americanlegends.blogspot.com

If you want to do this just go to my blog and in one of the comments just write your blog name and the URL and I will add it to my site.

Thanks,
Mark

Frank -- when you start wishing that Ted Kennedy was Pelosi's chauffeur, then they've dragged you down to their level. See, they've all been loving the troops while hating the soldierin' and as you point out, now it's clear that they crossed the line to simply outright hatin' on the troops. It's ok to be disgusted by this verminousness.

Pray over it. That's what God would have you do in all things anyway.

The Dems really just need to take that last step and change their party name to "Al Qaeda in America".

Hate to further bring down this party, but now these bastards are enabling CAIR to broadcast their hate over NPR and by extension,Armed Forces radio; see The Malevolent Genius of CAIR.

On the good side of things, I checked out A Hard Right Punch. It actually is a pretty decent article on Michele Malkin. Found out about it over at LGF.

It's times like this I really wonder. How far do we need to go to shut down these guys? I've been reading a book called The Sling and the Stone about what the author calls 4th-gen warfare (4GW). He goes into how the insurgents have been using a refined version of Mao's people's war; using society's own social and technological networks against it.

Obviously this concept may not be new to some of us. I guess what I'm trying to say in the light of what CAIR and others are trying to do is while we sit here and express our outrage over these people is if they continuously buck the system, it's the guys who follow the rules who continuously get screwed.

I'm asking if just sitting here and blogging our hearts out is going far enough. I've been seriously thinking about rejoining the service for awhile now. At the same time I really wonder if my contribution in that direction will matter. Especially if the people in Congress sit there in their own little dimension, changing reality to suit their whims. All the time ignoring the problems on the border and refusing to see the signs of jihadists infiltrating our society.

I'm not saying go Boondock Saints here. But sometimes the only way to overcome most absolute ruthless evil is to be even more completely ruthless.

Whether it's Fred Phelps, Louis Farrakhan, the KKK, la Raza, CAIR, or Osama, these bastards are all different sides of the same dark, black, malevolent-aura-radiating, loaded 20-sided die. I would say a coin, but that doesn't work here. What do you do with a loaded die? You take a hammer to it. And if you're in Vegas, to the fingers of the idiot who brought it in.

What galls me the most is some of their uses of the word racist to smear anyone questioning the actions they take. Of hearing these people call others racist while they talk about beheading people like me. Or if they're an LA Spanish radio host, sending me and my children in cargo containers back to Europe "where we came from". Never mind the fact that I was born here and a portion of my family came here from Mexico LEGALLY. Guess my skin's just too light eh?

Okay, I went a little overboard. I'd just like to be able to do a little something more about this lunacy before it gets to the point where I get to hear about the first public beheading in SoCal. Or before I get to say "Over my dead body" when a bunch of &$*holes decide to waste anyone in public who seems 'non-Mexican' in the name of Aztlan.

Just venting, but if you have suggestions, feel free.

Any time you take the time to voice your concerns, someone will listen, if only a little bit. How you choose to expound that is up to you, but understand that the fact that we come here to publish our thoughts & ideals is doing something, although not as brash as taking to the streets to whine & protest loudly to a pulpit of sympathizers.
The way to make the difference is to be able to stand firm in what you believe- in the workplace, at home, in the places you socialize, and so forth. It's what liberals fear doing as induviduals. It takes a lot of guts to be the lone wolf, so fortify yourself with the truth about any "political quagmire" that they will try to use in their defence of being so wimpy.

To take things back to a less intellectual level I wish to quote Eric Cartman of Southpark fame, ahem, "DEMOCRATS PISS ME OFF!" followed by the rough click of a chamber being loaded.

I found a link for the sound bite here:
Cartman Quotes

I set up my computer to play this wav whenever I get an email from my conservative friends. Enjoy!

I had a realization, too. I'm funnier than Democratus Maximus Assbuttamus. Go to spacemonkey websiteblog for irrevocable proof. That's right; irrevocable.

I've come to the same place, Frank. But it's ok. We're supposed to hate evil, aren't we?

#21 - Posted by: me on February 17, 2007 05:51 PM

It's like the story of the frog and the scorpion:

http://allaboutfrogs.org/stories/scorpion.html

Dem's can't help it, it's just their trecherous nature. The republicans on the other hand have no such excuse. Can someone list the 17 who voted for it so we can send money for primary challengers?

#22 - Posted by: zip on February 17, 2007 06:04 PM

Here are the 17 new Republican members of Al Qaeda in America

#23 - Posted by: on February 17, 2007 07:09 PM

The intent is present, therefore they are traitors.
Capability, the vote taken 246-182 for the resolution.
Opportunity, the house was in full attendance as per speaker pelosi and disgraced marine murtha.
Seems like a crime was comitted to me. Member of Navy Law Enforcement 1991-1993

#24 - Posted by: Glenn M. Cassel,AMH1(AW), USN, RET on February 18, 2007 11:06 AM

Being a traitor is like being pregnant. Either you are or you're not, but you can't be a little pregnant and you can't be a little traitorous. (or functionally pregnant or traitorous) It just isn't realistically possible.

By their fruits......

it's difficult for me to not hate our own republicans these days, democrats have to wait in line.

#27 - Posted by: kevink on February 18, 2007 04:45 PM

I'm kind of torn on this, am I happy they're not passing tax increases or mad they're emboldening our enemies?

Either way, our military is still killing terrorists and will be for a long time. I just hope they continue doing it in Iraq rather than the US.

Oh, and does anybody know where I can get a gay, Achmadinnerjihad thong? I haven't seen that link in like, what, 8 minutes.

#28 - Posted by: Veeshir on February 19, 2007 12:40 PM

Oh, believe you me, Mousie...Rep. Davis will be getting quite the earful. ('Shame I moved to a different district...I could tell his campaign not to bother calling anymore if he could count on my vote, the answer will be in the resounding negative)
