I Just Have to Ask
Posted by Frank J. at 09:00 AM | View blog reactions | Comments (15)

If the issues behind global warming are scientific and indisputable, then why is the main proponent of combating it a below average student who majored in English and government? I mean, I once owned a barometer, so, by these standards, I'm over-qualified to talk about climatology.

BTW, I should tell you that, if we try to combat climate change, WE WILL ALL DIE! This isn't a political issue; it's a moral one... so don't argue with me or you're immoral.

The do have scientists in the fold. They got the scientific advisors from Armageddon. You know, the ones who have such a find grasp of gravity/acceleration, inertia and the video game, "Asteroids".

Frank's right everyone. The Earth is a garbage free non-warming sphere and it always will be. There is no such thing as global warming or pollution. Please. What a joke. Man can't possibly do anything to the Earth no matter how many people there are or how much stuff man builds. It's impossible because God keeps Earth safe always. Global warming isn't in the bible so it cannot be true. By the way women can now delay marriage and having children, compete in the workplace and take jobs from less skilled men and there is nothing right wing men can do about it but bleat like goats on their pathetic little blogs. LOL!

Wow, the scientific facts (or is that "scientifical"?) that worshippers of the Church of Gaia such as Sarcasm Catamite cite when making their reasoned arguments are quite convincing.

*PUNCH*

Anybody who knows anything about the geologic history of the earth knows that a single volcano explosion does more to affect the climate than any amount of "man made" gas emissions. Remember when Mt. Pinatubo erupted in the Phillipines? Kick ass ski season, unless you were a government funded science type, in which case it was a harbringer of global snowing. Trying to forcast climate change using models available today is like trying to predict the next guy Paris Hilton will boink, except harder, since the number of varibles involved is greater than the number of males on earth.

Sarcasm Man,

You stated the earth is "garbage free".
As long as you are posting you are proving that to be false.

You stated that there is no such thing as "global warming". False. There is no such thing as "man-made global warming"

You stated that God keeps earth safe always. False. If that was true you wouldn't have been born.

You stated that global warming is not in the Bible. Who told you it wasn't in there?

Did some girl beat you out of a job? Your pathetic. You know you have the right to wear womens clothes now, don't you? Maybe that can help you compete.

How did sarcasm man get a name like sarcasm man when he so clearly sucks at constructing sarcasm? I'll bet someone branded him thusly tongue-in-cheek after a similar tirade, and he managed to take it to heart instead of for the sarcasm that it was.

Ironic, isn't it?

Sarcasmo, Clever Person that you are;

A) Prove that man's impact on global warmening is more than miniscule.

B) Prove to me that it's actually a bad thing, based on the history of the turn of the first millenium AD, when the plague was at a low ebb, crops were abundant, and the Norsemen sailed across an Atlantic that was much less mean than the centuries afterward.

C) Explain global warmening on Mars, which has seen significant ice cap reductions in reaction to...get this (are you listening?)...increased solar activity. Yes. The sun is hotter.

#7 - Posted by: PaleoMedic on February 20, 2007 02:13 PM

Yes Frank, you may have owned a barometer at one time, but you didn't invent it.

#8 - Posted by: AlanABQ on February 20, 2007 02:47 PM

Paleomedic -

The warmening of Mars is not due to the increased solar activity.

Given: All Global warming is due to evil human activity.
Given: Bushitler is the source of all evil.
Therefore: The Global Warmening on Mars is clear evidence that the Bushitler has secret detention camps burning fossil fuels on Mars.

It is simple, irrefutable leftard logic don't you see.

#9 - Posted by: Brian the Adequate on February 20, 2007 03:41 PM

Wow, Sarchasmo, I didn't know Bushitler and all of us evil SUV/pickup driving, right wing rednecks have been around for millions of years effecting all the climate cycles the world has gone through! Man, you libs really open our eyes with your unfoulable, well thought out logic. I bet all the people in the Notheast buried under all that snow are really worried about global warming right now!

#10 - Posted by: Wolfman Dan on February 20, 2007 04:09 PM

@Brian,

Ah yes, plus that tiny little SUV we planted on the surface of Mars a few years ago, shooting pictures, gouging tiny little tire ruts in the pristine dust, running over Martian pedestrians, burning an oddly massive amount of fossil fuels. I'd forgotten about that.

Does Mars have fossil fuels? Were there giant ferns and creatures crapping everywhere? Does Algore know?

#11 - Posted by: PaleoMedic on February 20, 2007 04:20 PM

Frank's right everyone. The Earth is a garbage free non-warming sphere and it always will be...yet more hot air-filled tl;dr blah blah blah

...As he types this when House hearing on 'Warming of the Planet' is canceled after ice storm...

#12 - Posted by: Basilisk on February 21, 2007 01:21 PM

sarcasmcritter is living proof that the earth is not garbage free.
I just wish all these self-important clowns would stop whining about the 1 degree we've gained in the past century ... I'm looking forward to growing bananas in Michigan. Heck, I'm looking forward to NYC and LA under a hundred feet of water ... as long as we can be sure all the resident libtards stayed there when it flooded! Who says global warming is a bad thing?

#13 - Posted by: pete in Midland on February 21, 2007 01:37 PM

Ooooh oooooh! I know how we can end global warming! Tell Sarcasm Man (not to mention the leftard trolls in an earlier post and more than a few Congresscritters and U.N. "officials") to hold their breaths.

Not only is their combined hot air destroying ozone, but oxygen thieves just shouldn't breathe on principle.

#14 - Posted by: Basilisk on February 21, 2007 02:15 PM

The Lefties that believe in Man-Made Global Warming have no problem with the appropriate education.
Look at their worship of all things Socialist and written/advocated by a professor of LINGUISTICS.
His "education" certainly prepared him to be an excellent evaluator of cultures, didn't it!
