Friday Catblogging
Posted by Laurence Simon at 10:18 AM | View blog reactions | Comments (10)

Since it's Friday, I thought I'd spread the joy of humor-free, apolitical Friday Catblogging to IMAO (aka "I-MEOW").

I'd make it political, but the shock of Houston Texans quarterback and sack-magnet being told he's on the auction block (despite being clutched to like a binkie blanket last year at the expense of passing up Vince Young) leaves me speechless.

Anyway, it's time for Frisky the Spoiled:

If you're not sure how this absurd scene pertains to IMAO, since IMAO is famous for that "political humor" thing, it doesn't. If you must have some semblance of politics or humor in everything you read here, just assume that Frisky is... um...

Help me out here. Make your suggestions in the comments how this scene is, in fact, a political allegory.

The six catcams are on during the day, every weekday.

Friday Ark #131 is at The Modulator.

Carnival of the Cats is Sunday.

WHAT REALLY HAPPENED

Frisky will occasionally lay by the toys and scratch-pad in the living room when he knows that Nardo isn't out to get him.

But you know that Nardo's nearby when Frisky cowers, growls, and slinks off.

Hmmm. Frisky taking swats at the silly Congress, running in circles chasing their own polictal tails trying to find dirt on Karl Rove...? I know, kinda lame but it's still early.

Resigning himself to the idea that the Mexicans are here to stay, Nardo tries to embrace the idea of bean dip.

I believe the Houston Texans are trying to do what the Bush administration is doing. Let's get rid of the public face of our team without really changing anything that goes on behind the scenes, then the Democrats/fans will like us. Sadly in both situations the guy who was dismissed wasn't necessarily the problem, but it was the bit players who aren't doing their part.

...patiently waiting in the play area at "Pet Groomers Inc." for the stylist to finish with Mr. Breck Girl's hair so he can have his grooming done.

Let's see one of you is Brian Williams, one of you is Katie Couric and one of you is Charlie Gibson. Alright folks lets see which of you can escape the claw of death while demoralizing our troops, spewing lies and distortion and cuddling up to Liberal losers.

Alright, the big pink Katie ball wins again! Better luck next time guys.

Laurence,

You mind if I ask how many cat toys you have in your house?

And Rightwingduck thinks I’m stranger than the IMAO crowd. You know that bastard never did send me my nickel.

As the planet burns up Frisky doodles away with his excess just like the rest of us rubes...according to the fat angry guy Frisky saw talking to congress the other day...

I finally have one. Frisky there is showing us a flow chart for liberal/Democrat reasoning.

#8 - Posted by: will.see on March 24, 2007 10:49 AM

Frisky sez "I'm watchin' this plate like Hillary Clinton is watchin' the Democratic nomination: one move in this direction, Obama, and I'll caterwaul ya..."

BTW, we love Vince Young here in Tennessee! Some of us ticketholders would rather see UT fans from Austin than from Knoxville.

As consolation for your abysmal draft screwup last year, we'll gladly send you Pacman Jones...
;D

After hundreds of election cycles, there evolves a democat. It's ancestry can be traced directly to the Paper Tiger. Seen here enjoying the fruits of the labors of others without pretense, having somehow convinced it's benefactors it cares about them.
