Duncan Hunter's Appeal to the Blogosphere
Posted by Frank J. at 10:27 AM | View blog reactions | Comments (9)

He's talking to us!

I don't think Hunter will have much of a chance unless something major happens with the other candidates, but it does raise the question: Who should be Fred Thompson's running mate?

I think Hunter would be good. A Thompson/Hunter ticket would convince liberals that the Republicans are out to physically hurt them, and that's just the message we want to convey.

If we draw the campaign signs just right, I'm sure we could dupe at least a few thousand careless libs into voting for a Hunter Thompson ticket.

Make that a "Thompson, Hunter" ticket and I'm game

Amen to that - Hunter has had my vote wrapped up for awhile and Thompson is second on my list. But if Hunter cannot get enough votes for first - he would make a great VP.

I was fortunate to have met Duncan Hunter at his home. Seems a decent, personable fellow. Thompson/Hunter. That'd work for me.

Ditto to that. And a T/H ticket seems to be an idea gaining popularity.

I was thinking the same exact thing, steadyrock.

I'm still pulling for my man Mitt. Anyone who can best those crooks at the International Olympic Committe can more than hold his own with Pelosi and her coven.

After Hunter's nice showing in SC he seems to have fallen off the map. I like the guy though and I'd certainly vote for him and commend him to those I know. We'll see how he does at the Reagan library debate in a few weeks. He certainly should come off better than the RINOs getting all the media attention.

I wouldn't mind a Thompson/Hunter ticket, but since I found out that J.C. Watts resigned his post as head of the GOPAC in February, I am hoping he may be considering a VP run.
