I think you find hypocrisy just as much in the left wing and in the right wing. It's a common character of politics, and let me say, a common character of humanity. At least, in Italy we have communists politicians who drive Porsches, divorced catholic politicians with multiple lovers, "green" politicians with SUV and conservative politicians addicted to cocaine. So, I think is more productive to concentrate on the ideas than point the obvious hypocrisy of the men (or women).

Hypocrisy is a human condition. The problem with the left is they refuse to admit that they have a problem with not just hypocrisy but they have a tenuous grasp of reality and the truth. Which brings us to the problem of concentrating on ideals /ideas.

If Algore wants people to reduce Greenhouse Gases than he needs to scale down to how the majority of people who live in America live. He needs to stop flying in private jets, recycle his newspapers, not drive unless it's too far or dangerous to walk, turn off his lights, turn down his thermostat and water heater, stop heating his pool, return most of his land to it's natural state and give up secret service protection.

If he travels it should be with the rest of us, the "unwashed masses" where he will be cramped, prodded, inconvenienced and provoked. Then and only then will he have something I'm willing to listen to. Until then he and his ilk should stop expelling greenhouse gases and "Shut Up".

Everybody's obnoxious, that don't make you a hypocrite. I just didn't get where Bill ever openly displayed being a hypocrite. I haven't ever seen hard(believable) proof that he was "pill popping" and I hadn't heard that the relationship he had that was news "worthy" last year was sexist. In fact the news I saw said the woman he spoke to was a consenting adult, all for the dirty language, and to me that means it's not sexist. If I chose to be my Benevolent Overlord's servile concubine, I definitely don't think it's sexist if he refers to me as such, get it?

Ever read "do as I say, not as I do"? There's a quote in the beginning of it where somebody (can't remember which moron) said: "it's impossible to be liberal and a hypocrite." The problem is that liberals claim to NOT be hypocrits, at least conservatives seem to admit they fall short of their ideals.
