Only 2% Murdered the Poll-Takers!
Ace has a great round-up of headlines trying to spin into a positive a poll that showed 26% of young Muslims in America think suicide bombing is justifiable. Only one paper he found put the actual news in the headline, and I bet you won't guess which. The rest of the report is irrelevant. The fact that 26% of young Muslims in America think suicide bombings against civilians is ever justifiable pretty much trumps anything they may try to say. I think the reason the left is so excited about this survey is that it reveals that most American Muslims don't like Bush or the war, vote Democrat, and want bigger government and more social spending. They also conveniently left out the one thing that might upset liberals, which is that 61% think homosexuality should be discouraged.
