If I Ran the Campaign
Fred Thompson will be on Hannity & Colmes after the Republican debate that's going on as I type. My suggestion for what he should say:
"It was a great debate, but there's one thing I can say that none of those candidates can..."
He turns to face the camera and it zooms for a close up.
"I'm Fred Thompson."
Or he could have looked into the camera and said "I just watched my fellow Republicans debate and I have this advise for them...Don't Ask - Don't Tell!

In Minnesota a professional wrestler was elected governor after one simple statement that he made during a debate with two other contenders. When asked what he thought, he said, “I’m not one of them.” This would be a wonderful concept for Fred to exemplify.
And exactly why isn't there a "Donate to Fred" widget at IMAO, hmmmmmm?
