This is just wrong. Hilarious, but wrong.

I'll just throw in the obvious question...

Does it come in a cat model?

I think someone did that to Ron Paul's brain.

Here's an idea: on the front porch of a home in an upper-middle class neighborhood, set up a large, man-sized open bag. Attach a massive spring system and fill the bag with paychecks, housing and land deeds, and assorted personal liberties. Make sure that all these are glued inside the bag. Next, light a large cigar and place it in an ashtray near the trap to enhance the bait. Liberals will be attracted to the illegal second-hand smoke. As they approach the porch to threaten the smoker, they will see the bag full of bait. Given that liberals are childish and lack self-control, they will enter the bag head first, thus tripping the mechanism and sending them flying into the nearby roadless wildlife preserve. You will then receive the satisfaction of ridding the world of one dangerous species while simultaneously feeding another.

You can't be serious? This gig has been rolling around the net for at least a year or maybe ten or at least since Algore invented it in his grade three class just after he helped FDR get the Hoover Dam built.

Do they make it for rabbits? I have two living under my deck who won't leave. I had heard that putting out marigolds will keep rabbits away b/c they don't like the smell. The rabbits ate the marigolds. I guess these two didn't get the memo.

Though you are smarter than Kissinger and Aquaman, I first received this link in March. It is nothing but great fun from someone very inventive. Tommy the Towelhead has a great idea! I'm sure the same device could be modified for vegetarians and other unnatural beings that are controlled by the force of malcontent. As Ted Nugent said, "Vegetarians are cool. All I eat are vegetarians - except for the occasional mountain lion steak."

It has been around for a long time, I think I remember it from Fark, and that was back when Fark was good, so at least 2001 or so.

But to those who never saw it before, it is kinda cool.

Just one of the weapon systems Ron Paul hopes to deploy when the barbarians breach the wall of Fortress America.

Are you sure this wasn't just an early testing phase of the Mexi-cannon?

I do like the Colander ISL (Improvised Squirrel Launcher)

g'nite ... Sean

I hadn't seen it. I've been laughing my ass off ever since I viewed it! I know it's wrong and I like the furry little guys as much as anyone but it's really funny!

#11 - Posted by: ussjimmycarter on June 20, 2007 12:19 AM

Obviously a flying squirrel.

#12 - Posted by: jonag on June 20, 2007 01:43 AM

Editory, I think it's being misused. There's a reason they're called CATapults.

#13 - Posted by: Veeshir on June 20, 2007 08:54 AM

Wrong? It's not wrong! we're just doing it to them before they do it to us! If Squirrels ever got the chance, they'd launch YOU and everyone you cared about!

#14 - Posted by: HKpistole on June 20, 2007 08:57 AM

As the nut population of America increases so shall the squirrel population.

#15 - Posted by: spacemonkey on June 20, 2007 09:44 AM

I wonder how many of them are here from Canada illegally? :o)

#16 - Posted by: G Fresh on June 20, 2007 11:40 AM

Hmmm.... too many squirels, not enough time.

#17 - Posted by: Amer-I-Can on June 20, 2007 02:42 PM

Looks like a carbon-neutral alternative to the Mexi-Cannon to me.

#18 - Posted by: citizensane on June 20, 2007 03:02 PM

I hate squirrels: they are spawn of satan. They chewed through the wires in my attic and almost burned down my house.
The only thing missing in the video is a piece of plywood studded with spikes for a landing zone.
