I liked that T-Shirt Babe contest. That was cool. Also, when you went to the Grand Canyon with your T-Shirt Babe, that was cool, too. And when you married her. That was really sweet and taught me the meaning of Christmas. Also, I remember the first IMAO post I ever read. Know Thy Enemy: Brush Fires. #1 - Posted by: sarahk on July 9, 2007 11:19 AMThe original puppy-blender post tops the list, of course. I also remember W wearing Curious George pajamas in an "In My World", and, in another "In My World", W mentioning how nice pudding cup time is. #2 - Posted by: Silicon Valley Jim on July 9, 2007 11:21 AMI miss the Limey. I mean - why can't we have more Limeys? I think that somewhere amongst all the college campuses (campi?) out there, we should be able to find another Rage-Against-the-Machine loving communist who doesn't know where Fascistan is. Come on, leftists - We Want Our Limeys!!!
Easy Peasy. A dear friend sent me an email with your letter to Michael Moore in it. I must've read it and re-read it about ten times, laughing harder each time. I finally had to find out who this Frank J. guy was so I got on the internet (I had dial up and it took forever to load) and checked out IMAO and have been here ever since. That was about 4 1/2 years ago. I now have fast internet (is this a great country or what?)so it only takes about 5 minutes to load now. (snark!) Oh, and then there was the time I lost the t-shirt babe contest (don't worry, I'm over it). That taught me the true meaning of Christmas (in other words, you don't always get what you ask for). Happy Birthday IMAO! #6 - Posted by: jonag on July 9, 2007 11:47 AMI first came to this site by accident and happened to read the letter to Michael Moore. That made my day...nay, I dare say it made my month. I've been hooked ever since! #7 - Posted by: Erica on July 9, 2007 12:21 PMI'm gonna have to go with the gorgeous IDF babes. That and Harvey's Fun Facts about the 50 States. #9 - Posted by: DesertElephant on July 9, 2007 12:52 PMNuke the Moon! The Limey It's not even a contest On the other hand, if you hadn't put a stop to it, that guy probably would have continued emailing you every week for the next two years -- so I'm not sure it would have been good to have more of it. Every once in a while though . . . #11 - Posted by: WAL on July 9, 2007 12:56 PMThe InMyWorld's are the best. There is nothing better on the Intarwebs than the IMW's. They are a source of incessant entertainment for me. oh, and the podcasting!Argh, the podcasting, where is she? She no longer around? #12 - Posted by: HKpistole on July 9, 2007 01:44 PMDarth Rove and Chomps. Bush and corndogs. The Canadian nuke joke from last week. Love letters from Kofi Annan to Arafat. And of course, the Limey. #13 - Posted by: SaraJ on July 9, 2007 01:59 PMHands down Frank and Sarah's "honeymoon" posts. #14 - Posted by: D-lo on July 9, 2007 02:06 PMThe Limey was the pinnacle of wit and sarcastic excellence! #15 - Posted by: on July 9, 2007 02:45 PMIMWs. Can't beat them, but there needs to be more of them (hint, hint). #16 - Posted by: Abigail on July 9, 2007 04:27 PMThere's really nothing I like at IMAO. My best memory? Huh. Maybe it was a Saturday night dinner about 2 1/2 years ago. (VBEG) I'm just here to read SarahK. Just kidding - y'all ROCK. Happy Blogiversary IMAO!!! #17 - Posted by: Tammi on July 9, 2007 04:33 PMHappy Blogiversary Favorite hands down was bit by bit - superego. "Uh... maybe I got the instructions wrong. Maybe you're supposed to kill the alien there that isn't purple with tentacles coming out of its head." "That would be me, Vito! And I don't get paid enough to take on someone as dangerous as me. Settling down and reading the IMW category from start to finish. Some of the funniest stuff I've ever read/seen/heard, and I've heard liberals argue. #19 - Posted by: Francesco Poli on July 9, 2007 07:19 PMI've gotta say IMW's are my favorites, but I have to give a big Moonbunny praise to the Frank Art. It's been amazing watching my naive little middle school girl grow into a liberal-punching wise-ass highschooler and I gotta give Frank's stick figure art a lot of credit for that, since it's the simplicity of his cartoons that made it easy for her to grasp the machinations of the hate-filled left. I told you she was the only one in her civics class to get the bonus question on the pop quiz because she knew who Tony Snow was and that was because of Frankj's site. I think he needs to receive an educational grant or something. #20 - Posted by: shimauma on July 10, 2007 12:35 AMI've gotta say IMW's are my favorites, but I have to give a big Moonbunny praise to the Frank Art. Every single one. I especially liked the time you made Laurence disappear. My second especially favorite moment? When Rumsfeld reminded Kim Jong Il that he too has a plan for reducing the size of NoKo's army that involves nukes. #22 - Posted by: Veeshir on July 10, 2007 09:18 AMStalking you was a pretty cool moment. All the getting paid to get to post here on the most awesomest rightwing political satire blog ever has been surreal. Also "Hate Mail Letter to Michael Moore" post was sorta neat. #24 - Posted by: spacemonkey on July 10, 2007 11:03 AMMy favorite IMAO moment was when my 12 year old son read "Nuke the Moon" and like it so much he posted in on MySpace. So proud to see him understanding satire. My second favorite IMAO memory is listen to an audio with Frank J welcoming everyone to IMAO with my oldest son, who was about 17 at the time. He became an instant fan. I am raising a lot of conservative refuseniks, here. #25 - Posted by: Marie on July 10, 2007 09:27 PMI gotta go with Writer and Marie. For me, it was Nuke The Moon. Its what I've read and reread. Its what I've shared. Its the shirt I'll be wearing my first day on campus at the U of A. I do kinda miss the verbal and hypothetical attacks on Aquaman, though. #26 - Posted by: BigBadUnderdog on July 11, 2007 03:46 AMPost a comment
